The Lion’s Voice Network (TLVN) has emerged as one of the premier platforms for Ras Tafari, Independent, Non-aligned Media and was created with the mission to educate, entertain, and enlighten Africans through the modernization of the Griot tradition. In short, the time has come for the lions to tell our own story. By telling authentic stories TLVN will become Africa and her diaspora’s premier network. TLVN seeks to be a world leader in Africa and her diaspora’s content and storytelling.

90 years ago, Emperor Haile Selassie I stood before the League of Nations. His words that day weren't just a plea for justice; they were a profound prophecy.
He warned the world's superpowers that by ignoring the fascist invasion of Ethiopia, they were sealing their own fate. His haunting words, "It is us today. It will be you tomorrow," became reality just three years later with the outbreak of World War II.
For every Rastafari and Pan-African, studying this historic address is essential. The Emperor asserted Africa's rightful role as the moral conscience of the world, standing flat-footed for international morality and collective security against naked aggression.
Today, as we watch a modern "World War III" scenario unfolding across the global stage—with international law fracturing and global tensions reaching a boiling point—his words are more urgent than ever. The lessons of 1936 are playing out in real time in 2026.
Let us look to our history to understand our present. If we are to navigate the madness of Babylon today, we must overstand the prophetic warnings of the past.

The term collective security has become a standard word sound within the global Ras Tafari community. It's use on the world stage stems from this speech. Regardless of your belief or religion it is a historic fact that, the Lion Of The Tribe of Judah did speak to the nations with justice and judgement.
This makes Ras Tafari unique among the faiths of the world. This history is clear and the time is now.
This month marks International Morality Month on The Lion's Voice Network where we celebrate the 90th anniversary of the historic speech to the League of Nations. We are also advocating for June 30th to be celebrated everywhere by the global Ras Tafari community as a call for world peace and unity of all nations.
