Indian MMA star Ritu Phogat has reportedly been released by ONE Championship after nearly six years with the promotion.
The former Commonwealth Wrestling gold medalist made a successful transition to MMA, reaching the ONE Women's Atomweight World Grand Prix Final in 2021 and becoming one of India's biggest names in the sport.
After returning from a break to focus on motherhood, "The Indian Tigress" struggled to regain momentum, suffering four consecutive defeats. She leaves ONE Championship with a 7-5 promotional record.
Also released from the roster are Eko Roni Saputra, Wei Rui, Mauro Mastromarini, Mohanad Battbootti, Huynh Hoang Phi, and Walid Sakhraji.
