Hokkaido is located in the northernmost part of Japan, at a latitude of 43.06°N. It is rich in nature, home to foxes, deer, bears, and various birds. Hokkaido is also famous for its delicious food. 「札幌で積雪1m超えは1月としては21年ぶり」「12時間降雪量38cmは札幌の1月の観測史上最大」となり、ライブカメラではトラックや回送中の路線バスがスタックするシーンもありました。

The heavy snowfall in Sapporo on January 25 was record-breaking.
It was the first time in 21 years that snow depth exceeded one meter in January in Sapporo, and the 38 cm of snowfall in just 12 hours was the highest ever recorded for January in the city. Live webcam footage showed trucks and out-of-service city buses getting stuck across the city.
Sapporo is the only city in the world with a population of over one million that receives more than four meters of snow annually even in low-snow years.
While the snowfall has caused major disruptions for residents and travelers, it also highlights how uniquely Sapporo is built to live with snow.

狸小路9丁目の角にある、三角山五衛門ラーメン。
雪国らしい傾斜の片流れ屋根に、赤提灯が揺れるレトロな外観。
特に雪が舞う冬の時期は、狸小路8丁目から10丁目まで延々とつづく暖かみのある電球色の街灯と、この一帯の不思議なほどに広い空もあいまって、ノスタルジックな雰囲気が漂います。
醤油ラーメンはすべて飲み干したくなる一杯。
スープには鶏がらと北海道ならではの鮭節を使っています。
麺は自家製麺、春菊と細切りのメンマも個性的です。
五衛門ラーメンの、公になっているエピソードが2つあります。
ひとつは、2011年公開の映画『探偵はBARにいる』のロケ地になっており、大泉洋さんが演じる俺と松田龍平さんが演じる高田が店内でラーメンを食べるシーンが物語の中で登場します。
もうひとつは、2011年の東北地方太平洋沖地震の際、地震発生の日から1ヵ月も経たない間に被災地の岩手県釜石市を訪れて炊き出しを行い、被災者の方々にラーメンを提供されています。
Goemon Ramen🍜 is located on the corner of Tanukikoji 9-chome in Sapporo. It has a retro appearance with red lantern🏮and a sloping roof that makes it easy to remove snow. Especially during the snowy winter months, the warm light bulb-colored streetlights that stretch from Tanukikoji 8-chome to 10-chome, combined with the mysteriously wide sky despite being in the city, creates a nostalgic atmosphere. A cup of soy sauce ramen that makes you want to drink it all up. The ramen soup is made with chicken bones and salmon flakes unique to Hokkaido. Homemade noodles, garland chrysanthemum and shredded bamboo shoots are unique. Please try it when you come to Sapporo.
We will introduce two episodes of this ramen shop. One is the filming location for the 2011 movie “The Detective is in the Bar”, and in the story there is a scene where Yo Oizumi, who plays Ore, and Ryuhei Matsuda, who plays Takada, eat ramen. Another story is that when the Great East Japan Earthquake struck in 2011, less than a month after the disaster, the president visited Kamaishi City, Iwate Prefecture, the disaster area, and provided ramen to the victims.

一晩中に雪が降りつづいた翌朝の、札幌中島公園です。
真っ白な雪は、凛とした佇まいの豊平館と静かに調和しています。
開拓のシンボルである真っ赤な五稜星は、その美しい絵の中にアクセントを加えています。

昨晩から今朝にかけて、札幌市内には断続的に雪が降り、積雪量が一気に増えました。
12月の札幌の雪景色は、降雪量が多い1月・2月と比較すると路肩の排雪が少ないため整然としており、同じ冬でもまた異なる印象を持ちます。
写真は懐かしい雰囲気が漂う五衛門ラーメンと、雪の中を進む路面電車（札幌市電）。
