Hello, dear friends!


We are currently editing our latest adventure, during which we traveled right across beautiful Saxony and even spent a night in our neighboring country, Poland. 😊 And—because we are just so incredibly clever—we naturally chose the "Ice Saints" period for this week-long tour; consequently, we got thoroughly soaked a few times and did some serious freezing. But it was worth it!

Wir editieren gerade unser letztes Abenteuer, bei dem wir einmal quer durch das wunderschöne Sachsen geradelt sind und sogar eine Nacht im Nachbarland Polen verbracht haben 😊

Und weil wir so un-fass-bar kluhk sind, haben wir uns natürlich die Eisheiligen für diese einwöchige Tour ausgesucht und sind ein paar Mal ordentlich nass geworden und haben schön gefroren. Aber das war es wert!

We reached our last destination:


Muskau Park in Bad Muskau is far more than just a park—it is a transnational UNESCO World Heritage Site and the largest English landscape garden in Central Europe! Spanning approximately 830 hectares, this picturesque setting extends across both banks of the Lusatian Neisse River, situated directly between Germany and Poland. A stroll across the historic bridges here unites two countries in perfect harmony.

Beginning in 1815, Prince von Pückler-Muskau created a living masterpiece here, composed of sweeping meadows, artificial waterways, and perfectly positioned sightlines. The absolute centerpiece is the magnificent castle complex on the German side: the opulent New Castle, built in the Neo-Renaissance style, captures every eye. Towering directly alongside it stand the elegant Old Castle, the Cavalier House, and the historic Orangery.

We will now head on and hop back over the Border to our Hotel in Poland ☺️

Der Muskauer Park in Bad Muskau ist weit mehr als nur ein Park – er ist ein grenzüberschreitendes UNESCO-Weltkulturerbe und der größte englische Landschaftsgarten Mitteleuropas! Auf rund 830 Hektar erstreckt sich diese malerische Kulisse beiderseits der Lausitzer Neiße, direkt zwischen Deutschland und Polen. Ein Spaziergang über die historischen Brücken verbindet hier zwei Länder in vollkommener Harmonie.

Ab 1815 erschuf Fürst von Pückler-Muskau hier ein lebendiges Gemälde aus weiten Wiesen, künstlichen Wasserläufen und perfekt platzierten Sichtachsen. Das absolute Herzstück ist das prachtvolle Schlossensemble auf der deutschen Seite: Das prunkvolle Neue Schloss im Stil der Neorenaissance zieht alle Blicke auf sich. Direkt daneben thronen das elegante Alte Schloss, das Kavaliershaus und die historische Orangerie

Today we rode through tranquil Pine Forrests. Amazing to look at, stunning scent of wood and earth, and almost no people. We had the bike path for ourselves for hours ☺️☺️

Heute sind wir durch einen wunderbaren Nadelwald gefahren! Traumhaft anzusehen, wie in einem Märchen! Dazu atemberaubender Duft von Holz und Erde und auch fast keine Menschen. Wir hatten den Radweg stundenlang für uns.

Today we spend the day on a gorgeous snow hike, just about an hour by car away from our doorstep. On our way there, it started raining, but we got a beautiful surprise after we went over 500 meters altitude. Is it Christmas already???

After two days in lovely London, we are back at our Hotel to pick up the Bromms.
Now it's assembly and laundry time and we're going to hit the road tomorrow ☺️

Cycling the Netherlands is always a joy.
While battling the headwinds, we find plenty of time to stop and watch the beautiful landscapes or little attractions.
The other day, we saw these beautiful fields, today, there was a bunch of Dolphin sculptures, jumping through a field like in the ocean.
