Hello everyone! I have a quick question and would love to hear your thoughts 😊
Over the last years I have released a lot of music in a similar style (which you all know), and I love and will continue making music like that. However, I'm planning to also release cinematic music and other film music genres in the future as well. I'm therefore wondering whether you think I should release that music under a new artist name or still use "Peder B. Helland"? 🤔
In some ways, it would be clearer for you if I separated the music into two artist names. You would then be able to more easily follow the music you prefer and it would make a clear distinction between the two styles.
On the other hand, my "artist name" is my real name and you could argue that a composer should release all different genres of music under the same same name.
What's your stance on this? I'd love to hear your thoughts and what you would do in my position! 😄
