A few weeks ago, I asked for your support for my friend Lucy, who has been struggling with a complex illness called MCAS.

First of all, thank you so much. We are incredibly grateful for every donation, share, and kind message. It’s been truly heartwarming to see how many people are willing to help someone they’ve never even met.

Here’s a small update: thanks to your generosity, Lucy has been feeling a little better recently, both physically and mentally. She was able to purchase special vitamins and important supplements that help her manage MCAS symptoms.

Everything you see in the picture costs around 10,000 CZK. Some of the supplements last for one or two months, while others only last about two weeks. None of this would have been possible without your help.

There is still a long road ahead. Lucy continues to face medical expenses and bills that accumulated during the months when her illness made it impossible for her to work.

🎭 I’m thrilled to be part of the Allegra theatre play.

I coached Elisabeth Bower, who plays Anna, a Czech woman living in England. To portray the role authentically, she trained to develop a Czech accent in English. She also had to master a few Czech phrases, such as “Spí jako špalek” (“He’s sleeping like a log”). I really enjoyed coaching her, and we had a lot of fun together.

The experience also gave me the idea of making a special video about how a Czech accent sounds in English — perhaps that’s something you’d find interesting!
