みなさま、こんにちは。
昨日の動画はご覧になりましたでしょうか？
今月のアルバムタイトルは、昨日の動画のタイトルでもある『愛は塵とともに舞う』。
恋愛について私たちは「美しいもの」だと思わされてきました。
しかし、本当にそうでしょうか？
恋愛で味わうことは、幸せよりも苦しみや悲しみの方が多いですよね。
お互い傷つけあい、最後は涙で別れてしまう。
なのに私たちは、次の愛を求め、延々と彷徨い続けます。
なんだか私たちは、わざと傷つくために恋愛をしているようです。
そもそも今の恋愛市場は、1980年代にマスメディアと広告代理店が仕掛けたものの延長線上にあります。大企業は若者の消費を拡大させるために、恋愛を煽りました。景気がいいときはそれで良かったのでしょうが、今は状況が全く違います。40年以上前の価値観に、今も私たちは振り回されているのです。
今回は、そこへ一石を投じたいと思います。
今まで私が感じてきた違和感を、歌で表現していきます。
今月は恋愛で苦しみ、傷ついた経験をもつ、すべての人へ捧げます。

Did you watch yesterday’s video?
This month’s album title is the same as yesterday’s video title: “Love Dances with Dust.”
We’ve been taught to believe that romance is something “beautiful.”
But is it really?
When we experience love, don’t we taste far more pain and sadness than happiness?
We hurt each other, and in the end, we part with tears.
Yet still, we seek the next love and continue wandering endlessly.
It almost feels like we’re deliberately falling in love just to hurt ourselves.
The truth is, today’s romance market is merely an extension of something engineered by mass media and advertising agencies back in the 1980s. Big corporations promoted romance to expand consumption among young people. That may have worked when the economy was booming, but the situation now is completely different. We are still being controlled by values from over 40 years ago.
This time, I want to throw a stone at that very idea.
I will express the discomfort I’ve long felt through my songs.
This month, I dedicate this work to everyone who has suffered and been hurt by love.

巫女うか – Uka of Light

みなさま、こんにちは。
今月の巫女うかのテーマは「神奈備ノ祈リ（かんなびのいのり）」です。

“神奈備”という言葉。 最近では少年ジャンプで連載中のマンガ『カグラバチ』で耳にした方も多いかもしれませんが、元々は日本古来の「神奈備信仰」に由来する言葉です。

かつて日本人は、深い山や森には神々が隠れ住んでいると考えていました。
神様は巨大な木、岩、あるいは轟く滝など、自然のあらゆる場所に宿ります。宮崎駿監督の『もののけ姫』の世界観をイメージしていただくと分かりやすいでしょう。

亡くなった人の魂もまた山へ還り、春になれば五穀豊穣の神として里へ降りてくる。 私たちの先祖にとって、死者の魂は遠い存在ではなく、常に共にあるものでした。

物質に溢れた現代では、こうした感覚は薄れてしまっているかもしれません。 だからこそ今月は、巫女うかを通して、この素朴で力強い“霊性”を歌い上げたいと思います。

世界が不安定な今、ご先祖様や大自然の魂がすぐそばで見守ってくれていることを、歌を通して感じていただければ幸いです。

This month's theme for Miko Uka is "Kannabi no Inori" (Prayer of the Sacred Sanctuary).
The word "Kannabi" might be familiar to some of you through the manga "Kagurabachi," currently serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump. However, it is originally a term rooted in "Kannabi-shinko," an ancient Japanese belief.
In the past, Japanese people believed that deities resided deep within mountains and forests. These spirits dwell in all aspects of nature—towering trees, massive rocks, and cascading waterfalls. It is a worldview easily recognized in the atmosphere of Hayao Miyazaki’s film, Princess Mononoke.
It was also believed that the souls of the departed return to the mountains, only to descend back to the villages in the spring as deities of the harvest. For our ancestors, "spirituality" was something very simple and grounded; the souls of the deceased were not distant, but lived in harmony with the living.
In today's material-driven world, this sense of connection is often lost. That is why this month, through Miko Uka, I want to express this pure and powerful spirituality through song.
As the world remains in an unstable state, I hope these songs help you feel that the souls of our ancestors and the great spirits of nature are always right there by your side.

『巫女うか-Uka of Light』チャンネルを運営しているArakuvaです。
今月の『巫女うか-Uka of Light』は、「東日本大震災」をテーマにお送りします。

私の故郷は福島県相馬市です。今もこの地で暮らしていますが、相馬市はあの日、甚大な被害を受けた場所のひとつです。

あれから15年。正直なところ、私自身この出来事にどう向き合えばいいのか、ずっと答えを出せないままでした。 出来事があまりにも身近で、あまりにも大きすぎたからです。
「忘れてはいけない」という使命感と、「辛すぎて忘れたい」という本音。その狭間で葛藤し続ける日々でした。

しかし今回、「巫女うか」という依代（よりしろ）が生まれたことで、彼女を通してなら、ようやくこの想いを表現できるのではないか。そう感じ、今月の楽曲群を作り上げました。

特に私の心に深く刺さり続けているのは、震災で失われた若き魂のことです。
大川小学校や山元自動車学校の生徒たち、そして私の親戚の男の子。彼らの存在が、ずっと私の心から離れません。
昨日公開した『魂の春を迎えにゆく』は、彼らへ捧げた鎮魂の曲です。

今月は、聴く方にとっても重く、辛い内容が続くかもしれません。 もし、心が苦しくなってしまった時は、無理をせず離れていただいても大丈夫です。
それでも、もし聴いてくださる方がいるのなら、これほど嬉しいことはありません。

私にとって、これは15年越しに始まる「心の復興」の物語です。
この1ヶ月間、どうか最後までお付き合いいただければ幸いです。



Hello, everyone. I am Arakuva, the creator of the “Uka of Light” channel.

This month, the theme of "Uka of Light" will focus on the Great East Japan Earthquake.
My hometown is Soma City, Fukushima Prefecture. I still live here today, but as many of you know, Soma was one of the municipalities that suffered immense damage on that day. It has been 15 years this month. To be honest, I still haven't known how to process or face this event within myself. It happened so close to me, and the magnitude was so overwhelming that I struggled to grasp its meaning. There was a constant conflict in my heart: the duty that "I must never forget" clashing with the painful truth that "it hurts so much, I want to forget."

However, through the creation of "Uka of Light"—a Yorishiro or spiritual vessel—I felt that perhaps, through her, I could finally express these emotions. The songs I am releasing this month are the result of that realization.

What has pierced my heart most deeply are the young souls lost in the disaster. The students of Okawa Elementary School and Yamamoto Driving School, and a young boy who was my own relative—their presence has never left my heart. The song released yesterday, "To Reclaim the Spring of Souls," is dedicated to them. It was created with a prayer that their spirits may find peace.

The songs coming this month carry a very heavy theme. They may make you feel deeply saddened, and I understand that some may feel disconnected from the topic. If that is the case, please feel free to step away.
Even so, if there are those who choose to listen to my music, it would mean the world to me.

For the next month, my own "reconstruction"—15 years in the making—begins. I hope you will walk this path with me.
