Welcome to Nostalgia Lookback.
This channel is about remembering what everyday life really felt like growing up in the 1960s, 1970s, and early 1980s — especially the freedom of being young in the 70s.
Using real vintage photos and memories, we revisit teen life before phones, social media, and constant supervision — when hanging out, cruising, backyard games, and simple moments shaped a generation.
If you grew up in these years, these videos will feel familiar. If you didn’t, they offer a window into a world that no longer exists.
This is a place for shared memories, conversation, and looking back — together.

That's me on the right in the yellow shirt, around 1976, down in my parents' basement. I can still hear that console TV warming up and feel that shag rug under my boots. We thought we were the coolest guys in town — clearly the furniture agreed.
This is why I make these videos. I didn't read about the 70s — I lived every day of it, and I want to keep those days alive for everyone who was there too.
So tell me — what did YOUR living room look like back then? Or better yet, the basement. Wood paneling? Shag carpet? I have a feeling I already know the answer. 😄

We didn’t need parenting books in the 1970s.
We had parking lots, sidewalks, and a pack of friends who taught us everything we really needed to know.
Looking at this photo, I can still feel that feeling of walking onto campus like we owned the place.
What’s ONE thing you learned as a teenager in the 70s that nobody teaches anymore?
(New video: 56 real photos of those lessons in action – if you want to remember them with me: https://youtu.be/fsOOj-OS0_k
