I’m Breanna Mercado — a queer BIPOC visual artist and community builder. My work explores identity, womanhood, LGBTQ+ visibility, self-actualization, and how art shapes the way we understand ourselves.

This channel is a space for people who feel deeply, ask meaningful questions, and experience art as reflection rather than instruction.

Through weekly YouTube Lives, I offer reflection questions and conversations centered on identity, belonging, joy, healing, and presence — inspired by my art practice, lived experience, and community work.

You don’t need to be an artist to be here.
You just need curiosity, openness, and a desire to understand yourself more fully.

`**New Self-Portrait + Blog Post:**

*A Self-Portrait of Becoming*

This self-portrait marks the end of a year shaped by transition, reflection, and learning how to let go of old versions of myself. It’s a work in progress, just like me.

Painted in acrylic, this piece explores identity, resilience, and the in-between space of becoming — when growth feels uncomfortable, unfinished, and deeply human.

I will be sharing the full reflection behind this work on the blog as part of *The Selfie Project* by the end of the week, Friday 23rd.
