I composed a theme for another podcast, which I believe is launching this month.
This is a "behind the scenes" glimpse at the very 1st step of my process - understanding the key components that define the client's brand. I try and limit this to 4-5 elements, creating a theme suite (or sound board), then I begin coming up with each of those elements. This could be instrumentation, the way something is played, specific keys, modes and melody, counter melody, whatever I feel works best to sonically represent the brand.
