1985 to 2025, 40 years of Tokyo Marui airsoft replicas; their latest airsoft replica the P320, and their *first* airsoft replica the Luger P.08
I picked these both up today in Osaka, only realizing later the significance and how these two models encapsulate exactly 4 decades of the most influential airsoft company.
Hey all it's been a whiiiiile since I've had a proper video up but I've got one in the works, hoping to be up next week. This one will be for the Hi-Capa people out there!
I'm going to be going over some of the options for Hi-Capa gas mags. For a long time gas mags for Hi-capas have been dominated by the original Tokyo Marui ones because their quality and price was hard to match. Other companies' "normal" mags might be cheaper but often not worth the hassle and leaks. There have been some lightweight mags (such as the old Prowins) before but often times they have their own issues. For a long time one of the best options was throwing Guarder lightweight bodies onto TM mags to cut the weight but keep the quality of the small parts that TM has. In the last year or so though, there's been some very compelling options that have come out.
If anyone sees this (I know, I know, I've been fairly inactive for a while) would like to hear what hi-capa gas mags you've used via the poll below, and in the comments if you have any specifics to add.
For people who are concerned about the new CPSC regulations surrounding airsoft, this video is easily the best I've seen on the subject, and goes into great detail. Though it's from the perspective of a Nerf channel it also specifically talks about airsoft, including confirming that the CPSC has said that airsoft won't be subject to the 3rd party testing requirements seen with children's toys.
Please do give this video a watch if you're concerned or interested in the regulations:
If you want to see hands-down one of the best Airsoft reviews around you need to check out this vid from Explosive Enterprises.
A combination of in-depth knowledge of both the airsoft version and the real version it replicates, along with being an actual review involving thorough testing of a sample size of several pieces and a variety of the aftermarket/option parts, makes this very literally among the best airsoft presentations on youtube. They fill a sorely-needed niche of high-end reviews, and are absolutely deserving of your views and support.
Putting a new custom airsoft build through a rundown with some HPA full autoing to make sure everything is working in tip-top shape. Loving the Acetech Bifrost for AAP01 airsoft builds! The Rainbow effect is great and even besides that a nice multifunction tracer.
