I’m Deryn Oliver, a 57 year old pet sitter for Animal Aunts, horse rider and animal lover based in the Shropshire countryside.
Here you’ll find me outdoors in the stunning British countryside, sometimes with the pets I care for or with my own dog, Tilly or on my friend's gorgeous Welsh Cob Bud, as well as videos of my adventures abroad like my fantastic Romanian Riding Holiday.
My videos vary from relaxing walks with no music or narration, to me sharing tips and offering advice on the walks, horse riding adventures and life in general.
Shropshire is my home but I spend my winters in Tenerife, where I enjoy walking through the island’s unique landscape and the fabulous coastline.

So at last I’ve uploaded the full series of my wonderful riding holiday in Romania- a country that I had never visited before and really didn’t know what to expect from the week of riding.
One thing I didn’t fully appreciate was the holiday included a guided tour of the beautiful Bran Castle, the city of Sighisoara and the medieval village of Viscri as well as an amazing opportunity to see wild bears. I had assumed seeing any would be a long shot but instead they were right in front of the hide. So when we weren’t riding we were kept very busy.
My original idea for the series was to be just showing the riding and the landscapes but once there I felt that the best way to show people how fabulous Equus Silvania is as a riding holiday experience was to record each day’s activities.
I really hope the series entertains and gives viewers the boost to book their own riding adventures.
