This one is HIGHLY underrated in my view. British composer Arthur Wilkinson provided a full set of Beatles songs, arranged to the orchestration and formal structure of Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker suite. The resulting 'Beatlecracker Suite' is the best sort of cognitive dissonance listening experience I can imagine.

Recently, I've posted a call for a Soprano. I was acutally amazed how many reactions I got. :-O
The call now is open to anybody who would feel comfortable enough to join me on my journey through time and genres. I am more than happy to outsource parts, especially all the registers I don't feel comfortable with (which essentially is ALL registers except bass :'-D).

Many of you will probably know this piece. I can't miss it out however in any list of pieces that inspired me to do what I do now, so here it is:
The "Can't buy me love" version by Keith Abbs has become widely known through the recording by the King's Singers. It's a fantastic showcase how one can both leave the original easily recognizable and hitting the stylistic accuracy right on point.
