Every voter in New York State will make a sports and natural resources decision with their ballot's Proposal #1: Amendment to Allow Olympic Sports Complex In Essex County on State Forest Preserve Land. A "Yes" vote allows the historic Olympic complex to add new ski trails and facilities on Adirondack forest preserve land, which is already home to the complex. The State will also be required to add 2,500 acres of new protected forest land to Adirondack Park.
