Wassup y’all!

So I’ve been working on some new YouTube videos, but in the meantime I wanted to share something that’s been a big part of my life the last month or so.

I’ve been selling my art live on an app called Whatnot, and honestly… it’s been kind of wild. I’ve sold 50+ original art pieces in my first month, mostly sketch cards, commissions, and small originals — all live, just drawing and hanging out with people.

Whatnot is basically a live marketplace. You can buy, sell, or just hang out. There’s artists, comic sellers, toy collectors, sneaker folks, all kinds of weird and wonderful niches.

If you’re an artist, it’s a really interesting way to sell your work without needing a huge following. If you’re a collector or comic fan, it’s a fun place to grab comics and all kinds of other stuff.

If you’re curious, I’ve got referral links for both buyers and sellers (full transparency: I get a small kickback if you use them, which helps support my art grind). No pressure at all — just sharing something that’s actually been working for me.

Been playing around with decollage techniques the last couple days. This one totally didn’t come out the way I had intended but I still like the result and I’m gonna run with it!

Also using a technique I saw ​⁠‪@devonrex4‬ do on her YouTube channel that I’m enjoying where she tapes a few small canvases together and works on them all at once to get a cohesive feel for a small series. What a brilliant idea!

Now I just gotta figure out how to turn these panels into comics 😎
