Today, we officially celebrated the opening ceremony of the highly anticipated Sethusamudram exhibition at the Millennium Art Contemporary (MiAC) Gallery! 🎉🥂

It was a truly special day bringing together art, culture, and conversation. Taking its name from the mythical bridge "Ram Sethu," this exhibition represents the incredible 3-year collaborative journey between artists of Theertha, Colombo and 1 Shanthi Road, Bangalore.

"The bridge between two countries, two histories, two souths — is still being built..."

A massive thank you to all the participating artists, art lovers, and distinguished guests who joined us today to witness the unveiling of these powerful works by 30 brilliant artists from Sri Lanka and South India.

Sethusamudram was a 3-year collaborative art project between artists of Theertha, Colombo and 1 Shanthi Road, Bangalore that brought together artists of South India and Sri Lanka. Taking its name from the mythical bridge "Ram Sethu," this exhibition showcases selected works of 30 artists.

This remarkable exhibition showcases vibrant Patua scroll paintings from the Prof. Roma Chatterji Patua Scroll Collection of the Colombo Institute of Human Sciences, offering a rare glimpse into the folk-art traditions of West Bengal and their visual retelling of the Ramayana.
