The wonder of the cross is the wonder of God's love. It is the supernatural intervention of God in this world. The greatest wonder that ever took place is the resurrection of Jesus. On Easter morning, Jesus rose from the tomb. A great earthquake took place. An angel of God descended from heaven, rolled away the stone in front of the opening, and sat on it. The angel did not roll the stone aside to let Jesus out of the tomb, but to show us that the tomb is empty. Death has been conquered and no longer scares us.
Let God's love for you and your passion for Jesus move you to bear witness in the world to the greatest wonder that ever took place. Tell as many people as possible about the wonder of the cross. Anyone who believes in Jesus and embraces the wonder of the cross will not be shamed. He will receive forgiveness of sins and eternal life in Christ. Let us thank God together!❤️

On Good Friday, at exactly three o'clock in the afternoon—Jesus has been hanging on the cross for six hours—a loud trumpet blasts from Temple Square throughout Jerusalem to announce that the Passover lamb (Korban Pesakh) has been slaughtered for the sin of the people. At the same moment, Jesus cries out on the cross, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit” (Luke 23:46) and “It is finished” (John 19:30). '
Even until the last moment, Jesus is in control. “It is finished!” These are the same words uttered by the earthly High Priest at the same moment, in the Temple Square as he offers the sacrifice to atone for the sins of the people. The Passover lamb in the temple and the Lamb of God on the cross die at the same time this Good Friday.

One of the most important prophecies about the death of Jesus is found in Psalm 34, where it says: ”The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all; he protects all his bones, not one of them will be broken” (Psalm 34:19-20).
You might be thinking, “Why is this prophecy so important? Did Isaiah not prophesy that Jesus would eventually be nailed to the cross like a lump of raw meat?” Indeed, he prophesied, “His face was so disfigured he seemed hardly human, and from his appearance, one would scarcely know he was a man” (Isaiah 52:14, NLT). So, what does it matter if Jesus' legs were broken or not?'
At the end of this bloody day, the Jewish leaders asked Pilate to end the crucifixion. At six o'clock, the great Sabbath of the Passover would begin. Before then, the bodies of those crucified had to be removed. They asked Pilate to end the crucifixion by breaking the lower legs of the condemned with an iron rod; the so-called crurifragium, literally the “leg-breaker.” Usually, the victims then died within 15 minutes because they could no longer push their bodies up to relieve the arms, so they could no longer breathe and suffocated to death.
John wrote, “The soldiers therefore came and broke the legs of the first man who had been crucified with Jesus, and then those of the other. But when they came to Jesus and found that he was already dead, they did not break his legs” (John 19:32-33).
If the soldiers had broken Jesus' legs, Jesus' dying would have been human work. Psalm 34 tells us that Jesus' dying was the work of God alone. They did not kill my Jesus. He gave his life willingly, out of love for us.

Have you ever thought about the meaning of the Crown of Thorns Jesus wore on the cross?
In Genesis 3, we read that as a result of the Fall, the earth's soil was cursed and has been producing thorns and thistles ever since. God said to Adam, “‘Cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat food from it all the days of your life. It will produce thorns and thistles for you” (Genesis 3:17-18). So, the Crown of Thorns is a symbol of the curse that came upon the earth after Adam and Eve sinned. The best definition of a curse is: the consequences of sin.
Jesus died on the cross not only to take away our sins, but also to destroy the consequences of sin: the guilt, shame, and victimization.

"I know I am forgiven, but I still feel guilty"
Do you recognize this feeling?
Then please remember this.
Because of what Jesus did on the cross, the devil no longer has the right to accuse you.
If the devil accuses you again, ignore him. Because as long as you keep responding, he will keep coming. Jesus sacrifice was enough. You are called to reign with Christ (see Revelation 20:4). To reign with Christ means that you may learn to rest in what Jesus has done for you.
So what will do you do next time when the devil comes to accuse you again?
