Yo Wah Gweh! Welcome to my Channel. My name is Amanda, you may know me as Deaf Mandii and I'm Jamaican.
I am profoundly Deaf in both ears. My native language is Jamaican Sign Language. My Channels will be the mix of various things to watch such as like JSL Lessons, Deaf Awareness and many more of it. I'll sign with the English subtitles on so you guys can understand what I say. I'm excited to share the videos with you guys!
I am Deaf and no one is going to stop me from my passion in my life and also share with you all about this channel. This is a channel that shows the world that Deaf people CAN DO anything just like you and my Jamaican culture and our language JSL become recognize as like the American sign language.

Answer: I was born Hearing but while I was baby with serious illness, it’s affecting me to become Deaf at an early age. So I’m now Deaf to a hearing family.

Finally, I am back for a bit. How are you, everyone? I hope you are doing well in your life. Sorry for the long paragraph…I just want that you are able to understand my situation😅
Wow, so many notifications😅… I am actually taking a break from Youtube and here is why I wanted to share that. The reason why I don't post youtube videos since then. I don't expect any of you on here to recognize my name so easily, Hahaha😅… not only do I not post often, but this sub has grown so much lately that new people are showing up all the time and especially expect my JSL videos that plan to upload here at any time.
Everyone, Of course, once I am back to my youtube and I will enjoy teaching you and also I am so glad that it is useful to you all.
I am currently attending a university in the USA (Western Oregon University) but I am actually in my country for a while and attending online. Also, I am currently working part-time to try to pay my college fees and trying to get a visa and scholarships so that I am able to go to my college in person in Spring 2022. Now back in the day when I had a hard day of work or even had a crazy schedule without sleep while studying online, I would come to this spring to attend in person. It was an escape because I want to get a great academic result and make my family so proud.
I didn't have to worry about anything except my youtube channel and the course I am pursuing. So what happens when your de-stress becomes stressful? You become a wreck. I know I have. I spend more time worrying about the channel and studying online than I do not post often on youtube anymore. That kind of stuff is stressful.
