Quick bit of context for when I talk about budgeting for a LEGO release wave: I've preordered $530 USD worth of the August 1 sets so far, which is just 4 items. My remaining, yet already trimmed "definitely consider" list, meanwhile, is over $2,400 even though there are only two $200+ sets in there. Together this covers less than 1/3rd of the sets actually releasing on that one day... that we know of so far!

Amazon's Prime Day is live, with all LEGO deals about 30% off.
