Here's a happiness tip for you that might sound a little strange at first: Stop trying to be happy. So many of us treat happiness like a finish line we can only cross after checking off a million boxes in life—career milestones, relationship statuses, or financial goals. But happiness isn't a constant state of euphoria, and it isn't a series of checkboxes.

In reality, true happiness is contentment with what is. It's peace in the now, and it's something you can find in both the highs and the lows of life.

When we spend all our time chasing the next big high, we miss out on the beautiful, everyday moments right in front of us.

Instead of chasing a finish line, I like to grab little "happiness snacks" throughout the day. Some of my favorites are:

● The taste of a morning cup of coffee (or chocolate!)

● A warm smile from a friend or a stranger

● 10 seconds of calming silence during a crazy, busy day

● Blasting my favorite song just because

I've never seen a weather contrast like this before—a 9-minute, eerily quiet lightning display where the sky literally split in two. This nature's split screen shows pure chaos with a fierce lightning storm column on the left, while the right side remained in an eerie calm.

As the lightning illuminates the sky, look closely and you'll see the boundary of the storm. It was truly an incredible sight on an unforgettable night.

This storm wasn't just a quick flash—it was a full-scale light show. I've captured the entire natural progression and evolution of the storm, including some of the most intense, highly branched lightning strikes I've ever seen. Watch for the fine, intricate details of the lightning as the storm hits its peak.

Check out this incredible life-size Oviraptor animatronic! 🦖🥚



Here we're getting up close and personal with one of the most unique dinosaurs ever discovered. This high-tech animatronic features amazing realistic details, from its bird-like feathers and sharp beak, to its protective stance over its nest.



Did you know the name Oviraptor actually means "Egg Stealer"? However, paleontologists eventually realized these dinosaurs weren't stealing eggs—they were actually dedicated parents protecting their own!

Enjoy 60 seconds of robin relaxation in this rare, close-up encounter with an American Robin that I posted on my YouTube channel at https://youtu.be/wL-L8TU_MBY.

Usually these birds are quite skittish, but this one trusted its camouflage enough to let me get close enough to capture it on camera.



I filmed this American Robin (Turdus migratorius) in the Chicago suburbs in the middle of February. It was quite a cold morning, so you can see this robin all beautifully fluffed-up.

Listen for the delicate chirps, chatter, and song of this robin as it rests in the thicket, blending perfectly into the branches, hidden from the world.



I also paired this video with a gentle piano melody to add even more peace to your day. It's a complete symphony of spring's hidden beauty.
