Don is a Grammy-winning audio engineer and producer. Claire Pearson is an indie songwriter and founder of Atlanta Intown Songwriters. Together, their “sexy folk-pop-country” sound is built on storytelling, harmonies, and emotional honesty.
When touring stopped in 2020, they stepped off the road into a different life, documenting quarantine, gardening, and life outside the music industry. That became an unexpected second act.

We’re The Ormewoods. And yes — the music is back.
Some of you know us as musicians.
Some of you know us as farmers.
Some of you somehow know us as both.
Before the gardens, before quarantine, before the long disappearance from the road, there was music. Late nights. Tiny stages. Bedroom recordings. Touring. A song called “Hey Babe” that quietly changed our lives.
Then 2020 happened.
Like a lot of people, we had to reinvent ourselves in real time. We picked up cameras, planted food, documented the chaos, and built an entirely unexpected second chapter here with all of you.
But music never really left.
So we’re starting again with a live one-take performance of “Nothing Compares 2 U” from the archives No autotune. No backing tracks. No edits. Just two humans in a room trying to make something honest.
