Iām looking for honest feedback from all of you.
I know everyone is sick of subscriptions but what would be something of value that would make Channel Memberships more enticing?
We currently offer:
⢠Access to chat in my Discord ⢠Acess to all of Sidequestās Discord ⢠Monthly Giveaways (in both Discords) ⢠Special Badges and Emotes in streams/comments
I donāt really push my Channel Memberships. I never needed to, because I built my channels up so I never needed to rely on crowdfunding, but they exist and I want them to have more value.
I lost my Grandpa last night. A large part of who I am, especially my sense of humor, is because of him. When my Grandmother passed away, he really stepped up and owned the role of both grandparents.
When I was little, he would often beat me in Dr. Mario and was the self-proclaimed ābest Dr. Mario player in the world.ā We also played a lot of ToeJam & Earl together. He would always let me be ToeJam.
We would watch Jay Leno and Antiques Roadshow together. We would draw train tracks outside with chalk for my Thomas the Tank Engine toys. We spent endless summers in the pool together and I would block the ladder so he couldnāt get out. Truthfully, I think itās because I just loved those times so much.
He introduced me to computers and the internet at a young age. Then, when I got older, he would call me almost weekly to come over to reset a password.
He had the best stories, fun facts and stupid dad jokes. Iāve heard them all hundreds of times but Iām still going to miss them. One of his favorite jokes, and he know it wouldnāt be funny to anyone but us, was that he wanted āAnother One Bites The Dustā to play at his funeral and I always promised that Iād make sure itās fulfilled.
Even into his 90ās he was always the life of the party. He loved a party and a good meal. He also never turned down a cup of coffee or an S cookie from an Italian bakery. They were his favorite.
I donāt know why but Iāve always loved this old photo of you (second from right) an your army buddies.
I was lucky enough to have him there for all my proudest accomplishments. When my YouTube career took off, while he didnāt quite understand it, he told me he was proud of me and Iāll cherish that forever.
I will continue to make you proud, Grandpa, and Iām really going to miss you.
