There's something I've always wanted to say to a certain group of people, but I'd never say to their faces. Hopefully they never find this. rev's video on extra credits,
To the webnovel content creators bigger than me, both on B-station, niconico (which I don't use), and Youtube, perhaps maybe even twitch.
I've always been envious, nay, jealous of those more successful than me. And yet thankful. Because in a lot of urban life and political novels. They say, when the sky falls there will always be great men (people?) to hold them up.
These are your LN historians, your maxwell raks, you're boofys, your firegirlhateswaterboy, your lumiancentrals, your mr. mysteries, your arcanechroncicles, and especially your ContentSavants.
To those who only made one video or a few, goldferret, novavoxil, vitaminillu, weaver, and the many I never even saw. Thank you for creating something and making something, because creation is hard.
To those that stopped posting, like Weebpsycho, Deathblade, Etvolare, Seisaku Desk (lot of translators to say the least). Thank you for coming before me, you may have never made it to see what the webnovel Youtube landscape has become, you certainly played a part in the success of webnovels today.
(as readers, as the people that shaped the industry, and most importantly as fans.)
Success may not be with you, but webnovels couldn't be successful without you. (你可能没成功,可是成功一定会有你。)
And to those who are trying and climbing, redchaos1, webnovel archive, peak reader I look forward to seeing what you will bring.
Some people say the end goal of a youtuber is to be considered a peer among the best. Trash Taste, to gain 1 million subscribers, the adoration of fans. While part of me aspires to join them.
I also enjoy the freedom of being a small fan, to gaze upon the stars and giants from afar, both as an NPC observer, but as they say in ORV as a constellation upon others.
I've always wanted to be a small fish in a big pond, the little guy that sits under the large branches of webnovel youtubers bigger than me. Unfortunately, I came in an era where there were no big youtubers, so I started to make content myself.
Shoutouts to LazyRedMoon, BL Healy, DestinyAitsuji, Aki [] Leaves, Sapphirepyro, Cu Cuhhaillain review (you know who you are, DHreviews), Andrew Wizardly reads?, Brandon Mangaka, I can't list LN and manga readers, because there are too many but I know a few (That light novel guy...etc) the list is too long.
Thank you Teacher 江苏棹子 for writing this work for 4 years. An oyster author crafted this pearl and it finished recently. You didn't generate electricity for love.
If I had read Gen Z before I'm not a literary giant. I might have liked Gen Z better, the author is very good at writing and has a good sense of plot and control. Which is better is up for a reader to decide. But I really love I'm not a literary giant and it's sense of hope rather than Gen Z's wit and introduction to ideology / philosophy. Great arguments, great writing, but not as fun.
My only counterargument, is that it's nationalistic tendencies has a certain sense of ironies in it's support of Internet censorship. Which applies to many internet platforms, but one is due to monetary concerns and the other is due to politicial and regulatory concerns.
I stumbled across an ugly duckling. The story is slightly dry, the topic is boring and highly technical, it's not sensational, but it has something to it. It's something I should review, but not something I'd necessarily recommend.
Came across a unique law webnovel from the perspective of a victim.
Normally the protagonist is a lawyer or imitating a criminal using their media skills to promote justice. This is a normal unlucky protagonist who follows the law in an engaging way using Driving Laws to promote safer driving.
Things like you write so realistically you're not a criminal or I helped keep crime off the streets because I was caught.
Found the most comprehensive History of Chinese webnovels published on Youtube, there's like 2 other bilibili content creators that did a good job. Moonquill & fireboyhateswatergirl also have their own videos.

I recently had the priviledge of reading an amazing sci-fi story alongside.
Trigun, The Outcast by Maoni, cowboy beboy, and even Star Rank Hunter.
Black agent or Ace are similar stories, but this embodies that space freedom cowboy story.
It's called Galaxy Debt Project / plan:
