➊　GOTTAについて
⑴ "gotta" の説明
　gotta"は、口語的な英語表現で "got to" の省略形です。特に会話でよく使われ、「～しなきゃ」「～しなければならない」という意味になります。
　フォーマルな場面や文書では、「have to」 や 「must」 が使われます。
「gotta」はもともと「have got to」から来ているので、正式な文法では「I gotta ～」ではなく「I've gotta ～」が正しいですが、口語では「I've」が省略されることが多いです。


Gotta go. （行かなきゃ）　一番カジュアルな表現
I gotta go.（行かなきゃ） カジュアルな表現で電話を切る時にも使われます。
I've gotta go. （行かなきゃ）「gotta」より少し丁寧な表現
I have to go.（行かなきゃ） 文章やフォーマルな場面
I must go. （行かなきゃ） 文章やフォーマルな場面

※因みに「must」は「have to」よりも強い義務感や決意を表す表現です。

　そして、これらの表現は電話を切る際にも使われます。特にフレンドリーな会話の終わりに「そろそろ行かなきゃ」というニュアンスで使うことができます。ただし、ビジネスの場面やフォーマルな会話では、"I have to go." や "I need to go." のほうが適しています。

　もう少し丁寧にしたい場合は、"I should get going." や "I have to run, but let's talk soon!" などの表現もおすすめです。
⑵「gotta」の例文
You gotta try this!（これ、試してみなよ！）

I gotta get up early tomorrow. （明日は早起きしなきゃ。）

We gotta hurry! （急がなきゃ！）

※主語が三人称（（例：He, She, Tom, My catなど）の場合
　× “He gotta”は間違いで
　〇 "He's gotta"または 〇“He has gotta“という風にisやhasを入れるのが正しいそうです。でもネイティブの方は結構「He gotta」と使っているそうです。

Chibi reads his bucket list which is a list of things he wants to do before he dies.
Chibi：I’m gonna say goodbye to Nancy.
Chibi is writing a letter in tears in his room.
Chibi：Dear Nancy. I’m gonna pass away next month. Maybe I should talk it over with you, but I don‘t want you to be torn apart, so I’m writing you now.
Chibi tears apart the letter and crumbles it up and throws it away in the trashcan.
Chibi wipes away his tears and begins to rewrite the letter again.
Chibi：We were torn apart by fate, so I have to go away from you. I wanted to marry you, buy you a house, and have children with you, but it is not possible anymore.
Chibi：Please don’t cry and it may be difficult, but you should wipe out any memories of me. Your sadness will go away soon.
There's a knock on the door and mother comes in.

Chibi takes out his bucket list from a drawer and begins to read it.
