Reel One Adventures is a West Coast fishing and outdoor content brand built by a lifer.
From Pacific Northwest springers to San Diego bluefin, we film raw trips, offshore chaos, real fishery intel, and what actually worked on the water chasing tuna, salmon, steelhead, sturgeon, halibut, crab, and whatever else bites.
No fake hype. No manufactured personalities. Just real crews, hard-earned fish, and the grind behind the bite.
Built around strategy, storytelling, and life on the water from Seattle to San Diego.
If we’re not fishing, we’re planning the next one.
Subscribe and follow the journey.

A quick pit stop turned into a double for Captain Josh Henson. One lingcod, one bocaccio, and another reminder that you never know what’s waiting below when you drop a line.

Think we brought enough rods? 😂🎣
Every one of them has a job. Now we just need the tuna to do theirs.

Nothing beats hearing that a recommendation actually helped somebody hook a fish.
He switched to the 350g Giro Tomahawk and got bit on the second drop. I’ve seen the same thing happen sometimes it isn’t about the most expensive jig in the box. It’s about the right profile, fall, and confidence to make the switch.
The Giro Tomahawk flat-out gets eaten.
Appreciate the feedback, brother.

Looking for Charter, Lodge & Tourism Partners
Over the last year, Reel One Adventures has generated more than 24 million organic views across Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.

I’m looking to connect with:
• Charter operations
• Fishing lodges
• Tourism operators
• Fishing brands
• Destination fisheries
Especially in:
• Alaska
• Hawaii
• Mexico
• Panama
• Costa Rica
• Other world-class fisheries
I’m interested in partnerships involving:
• Destination marketing
• Trip planning and coordination
• Media and content creation
• Organic social growth
• Audience development
• Brand partnerships
If you run a quality operation and think we could work together, send me a message.

One of the strangest parts of social media is realizing people you’ve never met can just disappear overnight.
Some of my followers in Iran suddenly started going live again today after being completely offline since February 27th.
Makes you remember there are real people behind those usernames. A lot of us take stable internet, communication, and freedom to post for granted.
Wild feeling seeing them come back online.

A year ago this was just an idea. I wanted to build something real around West Coast sportfishing, crabbing, salmon, tuna, sturgeon, rough water, real people, and the crews who grind when nobody is watching.
Now Reel One Adventures is growing because you guys keep showing up, watching, commenting, sharing, arguing, laughing, and being part of it.
I appreciate every single one of you.
The goal is simple: keep getting better, keep bringing real fishing content, and keep building this into something that represents the west coast the right way.
Thank you for 4,000. This is just getting started.

They said it was a no-go… Pacific Reign said send it.
Josh and Jess went anyway and turned it into one of those days you don’t forget. Two quality halibut on deck while most boats stayed tied up. That’s the difference when you’ve got the right crew, the right call, and one of the baddest sportfishing platforms on the coast.
When it windowed, they capitalized.
This is what it looks like when experience meets opportunity.

1 year. 16M+ views.
Built Reel One Adventures from zero while working full-time, raising a kid, and finishing my degree.
I treat this like a system, not a hobby.
If you’re a guide or outdoor business and want to turn content into bookings, I’m opening up a few spots.
Message me.

Last day of main stem Columbia springer fishing was a banger. Saw lots of fish caught and we were off the water before 9:30.
