🌧️ A cozy, rainy day update from the cottage...
The Irish weather definitely had other ideas for us this week! Because of the endless misty rain (and a little tumble that has me resting my knee!), the outdoor projects I wanted to do had to wait and my video is late but it will be up today.
Instead, we are leaning into the comfort of a slow, rainy day. In today's new video, we're hiding out in the kitchen making some vibrant, colorful cottage treats—three different kinds of vegan chia pudding topped with thick yogurt and fresh berries. We also take a deeply peaceful drive through the lush green lanes, watch the nesting birds taking shelter in the garden, and let the dogs take over the house to escape the drizzle.
If you need a gentle space to unwind today, put the kettle on, grab a warm cup of tea, and come join us at the hearth. ☕✨

The garden is truly beginning to wake up now, and getting the summer seeds started feels so full of hope. I've just shared a new video where we head into the greenhouse to sow some old-fashioned cottage garden favorites, take a peaceful drive through the green lanes, and catch a spectacular Irish sunset with the dogs (who definitely stole the show this time! 🐾).

My wonderful daughter brought me to a Castle for afternoon tea for Mother’s Day. It was so beautiful and very posh, I could get used to that life! 😄 My new video shows our day out. The castle is on an island and we had to get a ferry to cross over to it.
