After taking a break from training for a race for the past three months and spending that time ‘fun running’ here in Tampa, I prayed long and hard about when to start training for a race. And now’s the time!
I’m so excited to share that I’m beginning my next training block for the Miami 100 ultra marathon! @miami100ultra 🏃♀️✨ September 26th can’t some soon enough!!
It’s been a long road of learning balance and taking breaks to focus on my health, but after period recovery, ED recovery, and good ‘ol’ coming to the Lord this past year, I’ve never felt more excited to train for a race. This one isn’t about a time goal… this one is about running for Christ as a healthy and strong female athlete!💕
Marriage IS deep… but the little things? Who empties the dishwasher, how to properly fold the clothes, who was the last to clean up after the dog…that’s where the opportunity for compromise comes in. And it’s a compromise that you WANT to make because you know that at the end of the day, you are fighting for the same goal. So don’t sweat the little things, but look at them as an opportunity to grow❤️
