Thank you so much for watching my channel! 🙏✨

I live in Japan, and here I share my everyday life — simple moments like grocery shopping, walking through local streets, and enjoying Japanese culture and food.

This channel is all about showing you the real daily life in Japan, not just the tourist spots.
I truly appreciate your support, and I hope my videos give you a warm and authentic look into life here in Japan.🇯🇵

Samurai Life in Japan | Daichi

I have started a YouTube Membership 😊

I briefly talked about it near the end of today’s video, but I wanted to explain it more clearly here.

First of all, please understand that the membership benefits may change from time to time 🙏
I have just started this, so I may adjust the contents little by little while I see how it goes.

For now, one of the main benefits is that members can listen to music I created 🎧

I have uploaded some songs and instrumental tracks that I made myself.
Some of them are songs I have used on this YouTube channel.

However, my channel does not only use music that I made.
I also use free BGM and other music sources, so I cannot upload those tracks as membership content.

But the music that I personally created has been uploaded for members.

You are free to use my original music ✨
You can use it as background music for your YouTube videos, or for other projects outside of YouTube as well.
Please feel free to use it.

The reason I started this membership is because YouTube currently has a bonus program for creators who start memberships.
So I decided to try it during this opportunity 😊

In the past, I said that I was too busy to manage a membership.
That is still partly true.
But because this opportunity came up, I decided to start it and see how it goes.

If I receive support through this membership, it will help me continue making videos 🙏
It may also help me travel more and create more content for this channel.

However, I want to be very honest with you.

My main focus will always be creating videos for my main YouTube channel 🎥
That is where I want to put most of my time and energy.

So the membership will be something I do during the extra time I have.
Because of that, there may be times when I cannot update it often.

Please understand that before joining 🙏

That is why I cannot strongly say, “Please join my membership.”
I do not want anyone to join with very high expectations for frequent membership videos.

This membership may be a little unstable, especially because I have just started it.

So I think this membership is best for people who simply want to support me from the heart ✨
For example, if you enjoy my videos and feel, “I want to support Daichi a little,” then I would be very grateful.

But please do not feel any pressure to join.
If you do not join the membership, nothing changes.
I will still be very grateful to you for watching my videos 🙏

For now, I am planning to try this membership for about three months:
May, June, and July 🌙

After these three months, I will decide whether I can continue or not.

If I feel that I cannot balance it with making videos for my main channel, or if it becomes too much for me, I may stop the membership after these three months.

If I decide to stop the membership, members will not continue to be charged after it ends, so please do not worry about that.

Also, during these three months, I would like to do something small and personal once a month for members ✨

I’m planning to visit a shrine and write members’ names on an ema (a traditional wooden plaque in Japan), and spend a quiet moment there.

This is not anything formal or religious — just a simple, personal gesture from me to say thank you and wish you well 🙏

If you join, please let me know the name, username, or nickname you would like me to write 😊

I will probably upload a membership-only post about this in one or two weeks.
But if you join before then, you can also contact me or comment with the name you would like me to use.

Even if you do not contact me, I can still see who joined the membership.
In that case, I may use your YouTube username and write it on the ema.

For the first shrine visit, I plan to do this for the people who join by May 16 📅

I will write the names on an ema, visit the shrine, and spend a quiet moment there.
I also plan to film that moment and upload a short video for members 🎥

The video may only be around five minutes long.
It may not have subtitles, but I would like to share that moment with you.

For now, I will try this membership for three months.

If I feel that I can continue it in a good way, I may continue after that.

I am still learning and figuring this out little by little 🙏
Thank you so much for your understanding and support.

And again, please do not feel any pressure to join.
Whether you join or not, I am truly grateful that you watch my videos ✨️

And also, I just want to share one more thing 😊

For a little while, I may be quite busy preparing things related to this membership and other work.
Because of that, I might not be able to reply to comments as much as usual for some time 🙏

But please know that I am always reading your comments,
and I will still leave a heart on them whenever I can ✨

Thank you for your understanding ✨

And starting tomorrow, this will be the membership join link 😊

Thank you always.

Samurai Life in Japan | Daichi

I’m thinking of doing a birthday live stream tomorrow, April 21st at 11:30 PM (Japan time) 🎂✨
Feel free to join anytime — I’d be really happy to see you there 😊

This time, I’ll be streaming from home 🏠
It’s my first time doing a live at home since I’ve always streamed outside before.

It’ll be a relaxed, casual chat where I can connect with you all ☕
If there’s anything you’d like to talk about or ask, feel free to bring it up.

I hope this can be a small, comfortable place where we can just talk and relax together 🌙

The stream will start at 11:30 PM (Japan time) 🕰️
I’m not sure how long it will be yet, but I’d love to stay as long as possible and talk with as many of you as I can 😊

Also, thank you so much for all the love on my Akihabara video 🙏
It really means a lot to me.

I’ve already scheduled the live stream, so if you check my profile, you’ll find the live video there with all the details 📺

Also, I mentioned before that I wanted to do a cherry blossom live stream again 🌸
but the season has already ended and the sakura are gone, so I couldn’t make it happen this time.

Last time, it kind of felt like clickbait because the thumbnail looked beautiful,
but the actual scene wasn’t lit up and felt a bit disappointing 😅
I wanted to do a proper “revenge” stream, but I couldn’t this time — sorry about that.

Recently, I found a new challenge and ended up putting all my time into videos in Shibuya, Harajuku, and Akihabara 🎥
so I wasn’t able to do the cherry blossom stream.

Also, I know some of you are waiting for the video with my mom.
I’ve already filmed it and kept saying “it’s almost ready,” but I haven’t been able to finish editing yet — I’m really sorry about that 🙏

There are also many things I’ve talked about before — like going to Disneyland 🎢
creating new services, helping with kanji names, or doing guided tours —
but honestly, I haven’t been able to start any of them yet.

Even so, all of those things are still things I truly want to do.
Sometimes I just end up putting them off, but I really do want to make them happen little by little 🌱

There are still so many things I want to try, create, and challenge myself with.
So I hope I can keep working on them step by step.

For now, I just want to live fully in the present and keep enjoying what I’m doing 🌙
And I’m truly able to enjoy this because of all of you — thank you so much 🙏

Also, as something a little interesting, I’ve shared some recent channel data in this post 📊
like which age groups are watching, the balance between male and female viewers, and what devices people are using.

From what I’ve seen, there are very few viewers under 24 on my channel,
and it seems that most viewers are in their 30s and 40s.

Also, a lot of people are actually watching on TV, which honestly surprised me — I think that’s really amazing.

I don’t want this channel to be for just one type of person.
I’d love to be seen by a wide range of people — regardless of age or gender.

So if you’re interested, feel free to take a look at the data 😊
And I hope we can keep building a place where anyone can feel comfortable being here.

Hope to see you tomorrow 🌙✨

This will be a Night Sakura Walk in Japan 🌸

Also, April is my birthday month 🎂

Recently, my views and subscriber growth have slowed down.
Part of that is because I’ve been focusing on practicing live streaming.

But at the same time,
I feel like my skills, experience,
and my connection with all of you here
are getting stronger and deeper.

There are many channels growing fast with intense and flashy content.
But I want to grow in my own way.

Slowly, step by step,
building real skills and real trust.

Compared to other YouTubers,
my style may be a bit unusual.

There aren’t many Japanese creators
doing live streams like this,
and connecting directly like this.

So maybe this place is like a hidden gem.

And I believe I will keep improving and grow much more.

So right now,
being here with me —
I hope you can feel that this is something special.

Last month, I streamed for over 10 hours in total.
It was a lot of practice for me.

Now that I’m getting used to it,
this month I want to take things to the next level.

Before, I was carrying my laptop,
balancing my phone on the keyboard,
and holding the camera with one hand…

Honestly, it was pretty risky 😄

I even dropped my camera a few times,
and many of you were worried.
Luckily, nothing broke.

But I know if I keep doing this,
something might break eventually.

So this time, I want to change my setup.

At the beginning (about 30 minutes),
I’ll use my laptop like usual —
with BGM and the chat on screen.

After that, I’ll switch to my phone + camera
and go for a walk 🌙

While walking, it’s harder for me to read everything,
so if you can, please send simple messages
or the name you’d like me to call you 😊

For longer questions or messages,
please send them at the beginning or near the end.

I’m always thinking about how to connect better with you.

I’m still figuring out the best way to do live streams,
so I hope you can enjoy that process too.

Also, I’m sorry I haven’t been able to post videos
or reply to comments recently.

Thank you as always 🙏✨

🔴 LIVE Walking from Shibuya to Tokyo Tower 🇯🇵

I’ll be doing a live stream tomorrow morning starting around 6:30 AM (Japan time).
I might start a little earlier, so please treat this time as an estimate.

📍 Route:
Shibuya Station → Tokyo Tower
Distance: approx. 5.5 km (3.4 miles)

Shibuya is one of the busiest places in Japan, known for Hachiko and the famous Shibuya Scramble Crossing.
Usually it’s extremely crowded, but this time I want to experience it in the quiet early morning.

⏰ Time (approx):
Japan: 6:30 AM
Los Angeles: 2:30 PM (previous day)
New York: 5:30 PM (previous day)
London: 9:30 PM (previous day)
Paris: 10:30 PM (previous day)
India: 3:00 AM
Indonesia: 4:30 AM

I’ll be walking with my camera and laptop, so there’s a chance something unexpected might happen.
If I’m stopped or something happens, I might have to end the stream early.
But that’s part of the real live experience.

The stream will likely be over 1 hour.

If you’re interested in real Japan, not just edited videos,
I think live streaming is the best way to feel it.

I’ll also be doing some practice this afternoon for tomorrow’s stream.
I’m putting a lot of effort into improving my live streaming and growing as a person.

I’m still not a big YouTuber yet, but what I’m doing is quite unique.
I believe meeting this channel early is something special.

This year, I’m focusing not just on growing the channel,
but on becoming a better person and expressing myself honestly.

Thank you always for your support 🙏

Samurai Life in Japan | Daichi

Today, I went to Haneda Airport Terminal 3 (International) 😊✈️
It wasn’t for travel — just a little change of pace.
I went there alone, with no real purpose, just wandering around.

When I go to the airport, watching the planes and feeling the flow of people
always gives me a bit of inspiration.
Today was one of those quiet, refreshing moments.

Four months ago, in the summer,
I came to Haneda Airport and wrote a wish on an ema (wooden wish plaque):
“I hope I can reach 10,000 subscribers.”

Today, I suddenly remembered it and went to check…
and it was still there.
My ema was still hanging there, with my name on it.

At that time, I had around 50 subscribers
and it was only my 8th video.
Honestly, 10,000 felt like a goal that was way too far away.

But now, I’m at 7,160 subscribers.
I haven’t reached my goal yet,
but I can feel that I’m getting closer, little by little.

This is all thanks to everyone who watches and supports me 🙏✨

So this time, I wrote on the ema again.
To make it clearer, I wrote:
“7,160 → 10,000” in big horizontal letters.

I also added my name, hoping that people from overseas
or those visiting Japan could easily understand where I am right now 😊

📍 The ema is located at
Haneda Airport Terminal 3 (International), Departure Lobby.

If you come to Japan and happen to use this terminal,
please try to look for it 😉👍

If you find my ema,
I’d be really happy if you write something directly on it with a pen ✍️

A heart, a star,
your name, your country,
or just a short message — anything is totally fine 😊

This ema feels like a letter that shows how I feel right now.
So if someone adds their words or marks to it,
even if we never meet in person,
it feels like we’re connected somehow, and that makes me very happy 🌱

It’s already filled with my handwriting,
but if you find a small space, please feel free to write there.

As a footprint of your trip to Japan,
I’d love it if you leave something behind ✈️✨

This time, I didn’t go there to film a full video.
I just wanted to relax, so I didn’t record a long Haneda Airport video.

Instead, I took a few clips with my smartphone
and tried making my first short video 📱

To celebrate passing 7,000 subscribers,
I also bought myself a small gift — a bag 🎁
It’s a simple white bag that fits my filming gear easily,
and I really love it 😆

Lastly, I’ll share an old video
from when I had around 50 subscribers and only 8 videos.

▶︎ My early Haneda Airport video
https://youtu.be/p-XSxG_vvXU?si=RnWLm...

I truly cherish this community —
those who’ve supported me for a long time,
and those who found me recently 🌱

Thank you so much, always.
I’ll keep moving forward, one step at a time, without rushing 😊✨

Samurai Life in Japan | Daichi

Thank you so much for coming to today’s live stream.
I was truly moved by all the kind and warm messages from everyone.
To be honest, I’m feeling a bit shocked with myself right now.
I wanted to communicate more with you,
and I wanted to spend a relaxed, fun time together.
I did prepare in my own way.
I read books, checked translation tools, and looked into Wi-Fi and other things.
But when it actually started, my mind went completely blank,
and many things didn’t go as I hoped.
Because I believed “I can do this,”
the frustration feels even stronger.
I try to stay positive and keep challenging myself,
but in daily life too, I often feel like things don’t go well,
and I end up struggling more than succeeding.
Even so, I keep doing my best in that state.
YouTube is a very important place for me.
That’s why I really wanted today’s live to go well.
Not being able to do that hurts a lot right now.
I’ve decided to make today’s live stream private for now.
I may make it public someday,
so please give me a little time.
I’m truly sorry to those who were looking forward to it.
I wanted to bring smiles and make it a fun live stream,
but I couldn’t do that this time.
To be honest, work and daily life haven’t been going well either.
Small warnings and things piling up have really tired my heart.
I don’t usually show this in my videos,
but honestly, every day has been very hard.
Even so, I truly care about YouTube.
I’m not great at talking, and I’m not very confident or bold.
But I want to stay here with the atmosphere that only I can bring.
Right now, I’m not able to feel very good about myself,
so I’m going to take a short break.
So that I can properly receive the kindness you’ve given me.
The messages I received today meant so much to me
that they brought me to tears.
I will never forget this day.
It’s not that I dislike YouTube,
and none of this is because of you.
Work, life, and many things overlapped,
and my heart just couldn’t keep up for a moment.
I truly love YouTube.
And I truly love all of you.
This place has saved me many times.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I’ll come back when I’m feeling a little better.

🌙 Live Stream Announcement & Important Message

Hello, this is Daichi 😊
I’m going to do a live stream for the first time in a while.

This live stream is a thank-you live to celebrate reaching 7,000 subscribers 🎉
Thank you so much for always supporting me. I’m truly grateful.

youtube.com/live/oxZgsR7y80M?si=EUclLe9fdqzoFRZO

---

🗓 Live Stream Date & Time

January 16 (Fri), 8:00 PM (Japan Time)

This live stream will be very relaxed and simple.
I’ll be walking slowly outside and chatting with you,
just a calm and warm time together 🚶‍♂️🌙

It will feel similar to my first live stream,
but this time I want to make it a little better and more comfortable.

---

📚 What I prepared for this live

To be honest, I don’t speak English very well.
Even so, I stream to people all over the world.

I believe that even if words aren’t perfect,
feelings, smiles, and kindness can still connect us.

Last time, I did the live almost completely improvised 😂
So this time, I wanted to understand you better.

I bought a simple English phrase book,
and I marked phrases that I can try to use during the live 📖✨

During the stream, I will also use:

my smartphone translation app

greetings from different languages

I’ll do my best to communicate in many ways.
Of course, I won’t rely only on translation —
I’ll also speak honestly in my own words.

---

🙏 A small request from me

This live stream is about talking with you, one by one.

If you want:

me to call your name

a response to your message

please write your name like this:

“My name is ○○”
(a nickname is totally fine)

You can write it at the beginning or the end of your message.

During the live, messages may move fast,
I may take time reading English,
or I may be focused on filming.

Even if we talk often,
writing your name really helps me a lot 😊
Thank you for understanding.

---

💬 About messages

Because my English is still limited,
I may not be able to reply well to very difficult sentences.

If you want a response,
short and gentle messages (with emojis 😊)
are much easier for me to reply to.

You can also write in Japanese + your name.
I’ll understand your message first,
and then try to reply in English. I’d love to try that.

---

📌 If I miss your message

Sometimes I may be too focused on walking or filming
and accidentally miss a message 💦

If that happens, please feel free to send it again.

Even just
“My name is ○○”
is okay. That helps me notice you.

---

🌱 What this live means to me

After my last live stream,
I felt a little regret —
“I wish I had communicated more.”

So this time,
I really want to make it warmer and more personal.

This live stream is my way of saying thank you.

I may not be a huge YouTuber,
I don’t chase negativity or viral drama,
but this community, this atmosphere,
means a lot to me.

Even though my English isn’t good,
I walk through Japanese streets, show my face,
and try to connect with the world in my own way.
This is the style I want to keep.

Samurai Life in Japan | Daichi

Happy New Year, everyone 🎍
Thank you for being here in 2026 as well.
On January 2nd, to celebrate the start of a new year,
I bought myself a small gift —
a 360° video camera 📷✨
I was able to buy this camera thanks to the support
you’ve given this channel through Super Thanks and Super Chats.
Truly, from the bottom of my heart, thank you 🙏
Yesterday, on January 3rd,
I went out and did a test shoot with it for the first time.
The very first videos I upload in 2026
will all be filmed with this 360° camera.
I’m still getting used to how it works,
but that’s actually part of the fun.
Because it captures everything around me,
the image can sometimes feel a bit distorted or unusual,
so I want to be careful and thoughtful when editing 🎬
That said,
360° footage is incredibly interesting and exciting,
so I really hope you’ll look forward
to the upcoming videos 😊
I’m also aiming to reach 10,000 subscribers by this winter 🌟
Your support means more to me than I can put into words.
For a while,
work-related and salaryman-style videos will probably be my main focus,
since those tend to reach more people.
But I’ll also keep filming travel moments
and gentle, heartwarming videos from time to time 🚶‍♂️🌆
Thank you for staying with me,
for watching, and for supporting this channel.
I’m truly grateful for this connection.
Let’s keep going together in 2026 🤝✨
