China restricting drone flights and sales in Beijing should TERRIFY the FPV community 👀
Because whether people want to admit it or not…
If major governments decide drones are “too risky”, “too disruptive” or “too hard to regulate”…
WE are the first hobby on the chopping block.
And before people say: “that could never happen here”
Look how quickly:
❌ Remote ID arrived
❌ Geofencing increased
❌ Flight restrictions expanded
❌ Public perception got worse
❌ FPV got lumped in with idiots on TikTok
The scary part?
Most non-drone people genuinely can’t tell the difference between: • a responsible FPV pilot
• a delivery drone
• a military drone
• an airport idiot
• or a paparazzi creep
To them… “A drone is a drone.”
So here’s the question:
Do YOU think FPV pilots should start taking public perception and regulation MORE seriously…
