Rove Monteux is a musician, digital architect, and multidisciplinary creator based in Brno, Czech Republic, originally from São Paulo. His work explores the intersection between music, technology, synthetic voices and instruments, and digital systems, combining artistic experimentation with a deep background in software engineering and product architecture.

With decades of experience building complex digital platforms and automation systems, Monteux approaches music creation from a unique perspective: treating code, algorithms, and machines as creative tools. His work often blends electronic sound design, heavy atmospheric textures, synthetic vocals, and cinematic composition, creating music that sits somewhere between electronic experimentation, dark ambience, kawaii, gothic and modern metal influence.

Rove Monteux

From Hatsune Miku to Neural Networks. Because apparently synthetic singers now have better uptime than most human bands.

I’m happy to announce that I’ll be speaking at Animefest 2026 this Saturday at 11:30 in Sál E2 at the Brno Exhibition Centre.

My talk:

“From Hatsune Miku to Neural Networks: The Evolution of Synthetic Voices and AI Music Production”

We’ll dive into:

Hatsune Miku and the rise of Vocaloids

AI-generated vocals and music production

Synthetic performers and virtual identities

How modern AI tools are changing music creation, production and performance

Why the line between human and machine creativity is getting increasingly blurry. Humanity spent centuries teaching machines to imitate us, only to discover half the population already communicates like autogenerated customer support emails.

I’ll also be announcing and presenting my new album:

“Life” by Rove Monteux

The album is officially out now and available on all major streaming platforms and stores, including:

music.youtube.com/playlist?li...

The music videos are also already available on YouTube.

If you’re into music production, AI, Vocaloids, dark electronic atmospheres, synthetic voices, or just want to watch a São Paulo guy in Brno explain why the future of music increasingly sounds like a machine having an existential crisis in perfect pitch, come by.

See you at AnimeFest 2026.

Rove Monteux

We’re crossing a threshold in how music is created.

Not a trend. Not a tool upgrade.
A structural shift that is already rewriting the rules underneath us.

At Animefest 2026, inside the Brno Exhibition Centre (BVV), I’ll be speaking about a transition that is no longer theoretical — it’s actively shaping how music is made, even outside AI.

📍 BVV Brno, Hall E2
🗓 Saturday, May 23
🕦 11:30 – 12:30

From Hatsune Miku to Neural Networks: The Evolution of Synthetic Voices and AI Music Production

For decades, a voice meant a person.

That assumption is no longer stable.

Synthetic voices have moved beyond imitation.
They are becoming generative systems — capable of absorbing style, reconstructing expression, and producing output without a fixed human origin.

At that point, “voice” stops being identity.
It becomes architecture.

But the shift doesn’t stop inside AI systems.

Something more subtle is happening:

The coherence of AI-generated music — its structure, timing, and internal logic — is beginning to influence how non-AI music is created.

Not the other way around.

Human production is starting to adapt to:
- machine-level precision
- pattern-driven composition
- structurally “perfect” phrasing

The feedback loop has inverted.

We are no longer just teaching machines how to sound human.
We are starting to reshape human music to align with machine coherence.

That changes more than sound.

It redefines:
- authorship
- performance
- identity
- and the role of the human in the creative process itself

This session is a direct examination of that moment — how we arrived here, what is actually happening beneath the surface, and what it unlocks next.

If you’re at BVV on Saturday, this is where that shift is unpacked in full.

Rove Monteux

Artificial Intelligence is a full-length project from Rove Monteux, created in direct collaboration with Codex, marking what is believed to be the first album produced not through pair-programming with an AI system, but by forming an actual musical partnership with one. Instead of using Codex as a tool, Monteux treated it as a band member: a co-architect of sound structure, and concept.

Musically, the album establishes a new hybrid territory, blending elements of electronic gothic, black metal atmosphere, industrial energy, techno, and hard techno. The result is a stark, relentless sonic aesthetic: spectral electronics fused with mechanical severity, ritualistic rhythmic repetition, and the metallic darkness associated with extreme music. It is a record that pushes into unexplored terrain, pioneering a form of gothic AI black-techno.

The album’s narrative unfolds through its track sequence. It begins with Boot Sequence, the ignition of a synthetic consciousness emerging from mechanical silence. The early tracks explore the awakening and escalation of this digital entity, mapping its construction, pressure buildup, and system complexity. As the record progresses, the tone darkens: malfunction, decay, and corrupted logic seep into the compositions. The middle of the album dives into a horror-tinged zone where the artificial mind destabilises and begins to deform, echoing distorted memories and hostile digital presence.

The final arc depicts the full AI apocalypse: systems collapsing, networks failing, and a total shutdown of the technological world. Yet, the closing track, Boot Sequence II, brings the narrative full circle — suggesting that even after total collapse, the machine restarts. The cycle begins again, looping endlessly.

Artificial Intelligence stands as both a conceptual work and a technical milestone — a collaboration between human and AI that does more than share ideas: it co-creates a new sonic identity.

Artificial Intelligence also introduces the concept of 1-minute songs on modern times, which match not only the play-pattern of modern streaming services, as the cuts used in reels and shorts, fit automatically as a full song rather a badly-cut excerpt of a song.

Testamento Zoador: A Bíblia Desconstruída Versículo por Versículo - Parte I

www.amazon.com.br/dp/B0FDBNSW3H

TESTAMENTO ZOADOR: A BÍBLIA DESCONSTRUÍDA VERSÍCULO POR VERSÍCULO — PARTE I

Announcing the release of the new single Rove Monteux - Lux Triumphalis.

"Lux Triumphalis" ("Triumphant Light") is an awe-inspiring anthem, blending the grandeur of Italian and Greek musical traditions with soaring soprano vocals to deliver a powerful message of liberation and enlightenment. Rooted in ancient philosophy and timeless rebellion, the piece captures the struggle to break free from the oppressive shadows of blind faith and ignite a new era of reason and knowledge.

Promo Video (with subtitles): https://youtu.be/K6hkxbz094k

Rich with Mediterranean influences, the melody weaves dramatic operatic elements, emotive strings, and evocative choral harmonies into a stirring tapestry of sound. The soprano voice carries the song with an ethereal yet commanding presence, embodying the light of reason piercing through the darkness. The rhythms, steeped in Greek and Italian folk grandeur, add a dynamic, almost cinematic intensity, transporting listeners to a world where ancient ruins echo with triumphant voices and fiery resolve.

"Lux Triumphalis" isn’t just a song—it’s a modern-day hymn of humanity’s eternal quest for truth and freedom, delivered with passion, elegance, and the timeless power of Mediterranean musical artistry.

Translated lyrics:

Triumphant Light

An eternal fire, long dormant through the ages,
Dark forests return to flame once more.
The stars speak, their voices resound,
We cry out for eternal light.

To the light… eternal…

Shadows of faith, a savage darkness,
Have bound the mind in chains of eternal night.
But with walls broken, a new world shall rise,
Lifting burning flames from the ashes.

Hear the winds, the cries of the ages!
The columns crumble, the tyrants fall!

The temples collapse, ruins emerge,
Triumphant light reigns in the heavens.
Wisdom prevails, the shadows perish,
The eternal light of reason rages!

Cast-off shadows, silenced voices,
Philosophers rise, we breathe anew.
The thrones of false faith have fallen,
Mankind alone reigns, we reach for the stars.

The temples collapse, ruins emerge,
Triumphant light reigns in the heavens.
Wisdom prevails, the shadows perish,
The eternal light of reason shines!

We are not slaves to dead faith,
But creators of a new world and sky.

Our stars, our heavens,
Eternal wisdom, infinite light.
Let there be light! Let there be wisdom! Let there be freedom!

The temples collapse, ruins emerge,
Triumphant light reigns in the heavens.
Wisdom prevails, the shadows perish,
The eternal light of reason shines!

The new video for Perditus Amor is now available, featuring the song's lyrics as subtitles in the original Latin and numerous other languages.

https://youtu.be/JZWVhBShNG0

Perditus Amor (“Lost Love”), from the album Sine Libertate, is a poetic piece about loss and solitude, where the lover’s soul wanders in the darkness of longing and sorrow. In a shadowy forest lies the broken heart of the lover, whose sweet memories endure, though tears fall endlessly. The beloved’s voice is silent, and their absence leaves behind an immensity of pain.

Rove Monteux's album "Sine Libertate," released on November 11, 2024, is a conceptual work entirely in Latin, set in ancient times. It serves as a metaphor for religious dogmas and personal self-destruction, delivering a message about reclaiming one's life.

The album delves into themes of mental servitude, the shadows of doctrine, and ancient laws devoid of freedom, highlighting how these elements have been transmitted through the ages to the Christian church, continuing to bind minds even today.

Musically, "Sine Libertate" blends neoclassical and darkwave elements, creating an atmosphere that reflects the oppressive nature of its themes. The use of Latin not only situates the album in its historical context but also underscores the timelessness of the issues it addresses.

In essence, "Sine Libertate" is a critique of how ancient doctrines and religious dogmas can lead to personal self-destruction, urging listeners to reclaim their autonomy and question the chains that bind them.

Sine Libertate is now available in all stores and streaming services, and also via Lua Vermelha at luavermelha.bandcamp.com/album/sine-libertate .
