Ride Thru is a cinematic documentary channel following long-distance motorcycle journeys across Japan and beyond.
Project 47 documents a solo expedition through all 47 prefectures of Japan — one road, one region, and one chapter at a time. No support crew. No fixed route. Just the realities of life on the road.
These are slow, immersive travel documentaries built around atmosphere, endurance, isolation, weather, fatigue, chance encounters, and the changing landscapes of the journey itself.

Hi folks, hope you’re all enjoying some warmer riding weather!
The next episode of Project 47 releases in 4 hours, and this time we’re heading to a part of Japan most people have probably never heard much about: Shimane.
This one turned into a seriously cool ride through an area often considered the spiritual birthplace of Japan.
That’s right — it isn’t Kyoto.
As an added bonus, you also get to meet my in-laws, as Shimane is my wife’s home prefecture.
Hope you’re enjoying the ride. I’m honestly stoked to have you along for the journey.
