Throwback Real Talk Ministry FB post from 2019, enjoy!
I know from personal experience that I have failed Christ, fallen sometimes, walked in the wrong direction, and will even end up twisting my ankles trying to stay on the straight and narrow. I have said the wrong words, seen the wrong things, and heard the wrong things while fighting to live for Christ. But the Holy Spirit always catches me even when I’m failing him, he catches me before I fall, and if I choose to fall, he helps me up. When he sees me walking in the wrong direction, twisted ankle and all, he helps me turn around. The straight and narrow is a process, but he doesn’t allow me turn on him. Regardless how crooked the road, he keeps me on the right path. I want to let it all go sometimes, but he keeps me in the fight.
The reward for sticking it out for him may not be cars, money, houses, and the prosperity of the world; but what he has in store for YOU is greater. So regardless the walk, the thoughts, feelings, or emotions you may feel will push you to give up or go back, don’t do it. Continue to live this life for Christ. If you do it in and for Christ, then you will be alright. God bless.
