Green HSE transforms Health, Safety, Environmental, Emergency Preparedness, and Continuous Improvement plans for people and companies around the world.
Green HSE provides consultative services and content to develop or improve your life and company. Whether you'd like to learn more about emergency preparedness, or are an HSE professional that needs a little extra help, a small business that needs to meet regulatory compliance, or a large organization that would like to take the next step in their HSE journey, GREEN HSE can help.
For close to 20 years, I have been an emergency/disaster responder and HSE professional. I hope I can share my knowledge from my experiences as a firefighter, Coast Guard medic, and a safety/emergency preparedness professional. I'll also pepper in some interesting history lessons from significant disasters in U.S. History, and maybe some fitness, health, and sustainable living stuff (because I enjoy learning about that stuff).

Many households only have a few days to a couple weeks of non-perishable foods in their home. Food security is one of my top concerns in disaster and emergency preparedness. How many food shortages have you seen just in the last few years?
Here's a few things I have been doing to assure food security for the family:
1. Buy a few extra cans of vegetables each week to build a 1-2 month stockpile (I also buy rice and canned meat).
2. I have these @readywiseprepare buckets on Amazon Subscribe & Save. I started with 2 buckets a month, but now that I have 4 months' worth, I recieve four a year. They store well and are very portable.
3. I have a few gardens in my yard, a hydroponic garden in my house, 30,000 seeds, and a few gardening and homestead books. If things get really crazy, I might have some time on my hands to have a decent garden!
4. Chickens.
Here's a linky doodle to the food buckets: amzn.to/3CokE9f
Don't forget to think about feeding your family too!
