Last September, all of my kids went to school, and for the first time in years I suddenly had more time. It felt strange at first.

For a long time, my world revolved around family life, custom cakes, late-night baking, client orders, and trying to build something meaningful from home while raising children.

Somewhere during that season, I realized my home cake business had reached a point where I needed to make a decision: continue growing locally offline or try building something much bigger online.

I chose the second path.

Honestly, I don’t think I fully understood what I was getting myself into 😂

What started as “maybe I’ll make a recipe website” slowly turned into learning SEO, Pinterest strategy, Google Search Console, food photography, blogging, analytics, content systems, social media psychology, algorithms, and user behavior.

At some point, it genuinely felt like my brain was going to explode from the amount of information I was trying to absorb.

The funny part is that from the outside people often see “just recipes.” But behind a growing content platform is strategy, testing, failures, late nights, creativity, and constant learning.

Some days feel exciting. Some feel overwhelming. Some make me question everything.

But I think I’m finally ready to write the first chapter of this journey. Not because I’ve “made it,” but because I can finally see the direction forming through all the chaos.

Still learning. Still building. Still searching for the next level.
