Christian Morman has been working in our validation department since 2019. 🛠️ Christian originally studied hygiene technology at Sigmaringen University of Applied Sciences.


What is your area of responsibility?
As a validation engineer, I create test protocols and specification documents for our new machines as well as our after-sales and digital products. I support our customers in the implementation of test protocols and constantly develop them accordingly. The validation is therefore offered as a kind of service. 📋


What is special about this job?
Working as a validation engineer involves striking a balance between customer requirements and the specifications of our internal departments. Creating this balance is very demanding, which is what makes the job so exciting. I also carry out some of the test protocols directly at the customer's premises and can therefore travel to countries such as Mexico, Costa Rica, and China. 🌍


Why is this job so important for Uhlmann?
Through our validation, we help to ensure compliance with legal standards as well as comprehensive patient safety. In this sense, we act according to our corporate values: strong - open-minded and above all: reliable. 🏥


What are the development and career opportunities in this job?
While a validation engineer tends to start out in the area of standard machines, you can move into the area of special machines as you gain more professional experience. This specification in particular is very complex and creates an incredible amount of variety.
