Hi viewers & friends!
Obviously travel is something I’ve (Annie) become very passionate about, and I am considering taking the leap and joining a host agency to learn the ins and outs of becoming a travel agent. The resources offered from a host agency seem really good and will help me gain industry knowledge which I obviously want for selfish reasons. But I also am very interested in helping others plan their travels and treating this as a business, so I’m wondering if any of you would consider hiring me as your travel agent.
Joining a host agency is a great way to get started, but it does require a monthly fee, so I would need to create my own client base to get a business going. Before I make the commitment and begin paying the fee to a host agency, I wanted to put a feeler out to see how many of my own friends and family would even consider hiring me as their personal travel agent if I were to pursue this career path.
Please let me know either by a comment on this post, a DM, or a text to my cell if this is something you would be interested in. I’m also happy to try to answer any questions you may have. Planning is one of the parts of teaching that I loved, and I would love to help you plan your vacations!
