It's been a long time since I've posted here, but I hope to be posting new videos soon about my incredible time in Algeria and elsewhere!

But for now I'm posting about our Syria August summer group tours.

After two successful Syria trips this year in January and April, we're organising two more this August. Everyone is welcome! (With the exception of US citizens, who unfortunately aren't currently being issued visas). On our April trip, even my grandma joined 😊

Our first August trip will be between the 2nd and 10th of August to the Syrian coast..Tartous, Latakia and some awesome coastal scenery.

Our second will be from the 10th of August until the 18th. We'll be going to Marmarita festival on this trip, so that's going to be a highlight! And some other fun surprises.

One of the most interesting places I've been to in Syria yet, Bosra Al Sham, in Syria's southern Dara'a governate.

It's only been open to tourists for a short period of time, and we're lucky to have gone there.

Travelling The Unknown

Due to the recent protests taking place in Iraq, the internet has been shut off in Baghdad, Najaf and other parts of the country. There is also a strict curfew in many areas.

This worrying turn of events has meant that I'm not able to contact some of my close friends in the country. Below is part of a WhatsApp conversation I had with an Iraqi friend yesterday, before the internet went off, again.
