Loved all the great comments on the USB-C video. Here’s some updates:

* I ordered two different barrel jack to USB-C cables for my monitor from Ali Express and neither of them ever arrived. Tracking shows they made it from China to one county over and then disappeared. Two different orders, same thing. Never again Ali Express! Luckily I only spent $12 total. Found another one on Newegg, but it’ll be a couple weeks.

* I got a lot of comments about Power Over Ethernet. I searched around but I’m not seeing an example video that is similar to what I did in this project. Please share if you know one!

* One thing that I didn’t understand until I read a few comments was most USB hubs share port groups and every time you plug something into the same port group everything renegotiates power. The Multixel USB-C hub I showed actually has 5 different USB-C port groups (each group is outlined in the image I shared), so if you keep everything in a different group it won’t wig out.
