I come from a background of selling wedding stationery templates - it's an industry where you take care of your customers and if you do, they start with their save the dates - move to their wedding invites, then order their reception stationery and finally their thank you cards!

Its a journey - and ALL customers have a journey - it just not might be as obvious as the wedding industry.
It's so important to always treat your customers with respect, patience and deliver up great customer service - and by doing that you incredible their customer journey with you.

They have an amazing experience, and you have a customer who sticks around after the first sale - it's a win win for everyone!

4 easy ways you can do this are...

👉Follow up with a friendly message after purchase checking in to see if everything is ok! This can give you an opportunity to field anything that may have gone wrong in the file delivery process.

👉Make sure you check your messages at least daily if not a couple of times a day to get back to any customers with questions they have. A fast response rate is proven to increase sales and retain clients.

👉Use professional, friendly language in the way you communicate with your clients.

👉Overdeliver where you can whether its post purchase tutorials to help them edit their files, a free download or something else you know they will love!

My oldest customers date all the way back to the very start of my business - in some cases people who did their wedding invitations years ago come back for a birth announcement or children's party invite (it happens more often than you think 🤣)

So its safe to say, customer service is important and worthy of your time, and benefits everyone!
