Your May calendar is in! This May we delve into the art of the pause. Holding that sweet infinite space in between– what we think, what we feel, what we say, what we do, and who we choose to be. What would happen if you waited there in that space for a little while?
This month: WITNESS
Thoughts come and go, but your inner witness sees all, observing without attachment. Yoga is not just physical, it is a practice of awareness. It informs our ability to acknowledge changes outside of ourselves while staying rooted. Stability starts with the mind, not just thoughts, but the space in between. In asana, this could look like a moment when you notice your body wobbling in tree pose. That spacious awareness can be the difference between being hard on yourself or laughing it off and adjusting to what your body needs. In the same way, your practice can help when the world around you feels unstable. Yoga asks you to reach for the tools needed in the moment and to remain present with what is. You are not your thoughts but the one who observes them. From there, anything is possible.
