WHAT DOES GOD DELIGHT IN?

Have you thought about the things that God delights in? Do you think God delights in our poverty and our brokenness? Or do you think that God takes pleasure in our prosperity and well being?

GOD IS LOVE, AND LOVE CAN ONLY BLESS!

PSALMS 35:27 -- "Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favor my righteous cause; yeah, let them say continually, let the LORD be magnified which take pleasure in the prosperity of His servants."

Which father among you delights in the poverty or brokenness of your children? I am a father and I am concerned of the well-being of my children. I am concerned for their health, comfort, peace, joy and safety. I want my children blessed, healthy, whole, happy and prosperous.

God is our Father, God delights and takes pleasure in seeing His children blessed, healthy, living with joy, peace, love and are well. God is very concerned that you have all your needs met and He is committed through covenant to do that for you.

God has no intention of withholding anything good from you. He has freely given you all things. You can be constantly assured that God wants to be your Covenant-Maker and Covenant-Keeper. He desires to meet all your needs. God is committed to equip you to live a life that is full and holistic.

Breakthrough Tuesday to you! Have faith in the goodness of God. Believe Him and His promises. Expect good things and better days because God is good. Joyful morning ! SOLI DEO GLORIA!!!

BE RESTORED

Even great people of God experience times of great discouragement. Look at the great prophet Elijah. Having killed all four hundred fifty prophets of Baal, you would think he could , as he outran King Ahab's chariot. But eventually the exhaustion caught up with Elijah. Extreme tiredness gave way to fear and anxiety, and soon he ended up depressed.

After we have taken a bunch of emotional, spiritual, and physical risks, we all need replenishing. Elijah's recovery was no different . He needed sleep, food, exercise, friends, and God's touch of healing, restoring presence. He needed to know that God had him.

The book of Acts says, "God . . . is not far from any one of us." (Acts 17:27)

Are you feeling tired? Worn out? Exhausted? Be disciplined in making sure you rest properly. Give yourself a break and know that God is close by, ready to reinvigorate you in His own perfect way.

"Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust." (PSALM 91:1-2)

Claim it. Soak in it. Embrace it. As He was with Elijah, so God is with you.

May God renew your strength and your spirit. May He empower you to do His will. Have a REFRESHING Monday morning. Be blessed more abundantly. SOLI DEO GLORIA!
