Flounder - Voice of Reason is already doing what Epic cards do: demanding respect, and making opponents rethink everything. He just doesn't need extended art to announce it.
People keep saying Flounder deserves an iconic card, but what they really mean is they want something shiny to justify spending $1500. The Fish is the Voice of Reason 🐠 he doesn't need gold embelishments to prove his worth.
The Chapter 1 foil Flounder catches light in a way that makes him look like he's genuinely underwater 🐠 the Fabled version just makes him look like a sticker. When you have perfection on the first try, there's nowhere to go but sideways.
Sometimes I think about the day of the release of Disney Lorcana set 13 and sometimes I think day Flounder is rotated from core contracted. I just hope those aren't the same day.
