Life is short. Many of us spend our lives wishing we did something else. Buy the ticket. Take the ride. Put your shoes on. Go for a walk either around the block or around the world. Do something new every day. Live deliberately.

Scam Alert for YouTube Content Creators. Over the past couple of months I've been receiving e-mails claiming that I may have, or have, used someone else's music without their permission in my videos. (The attached screen shot shows one of those e-mails). Most of these e-mails are very vague and usually don't specify which video they feel contains the copyrighted music. Unless I have commissioned specific music for my videos, like for the Indooroopilly or Sandgate videos, all the music I use comes from the free YouTube Audio Library, which is excellent. So, this is just a heads-up to you all. I don't know what music you are using, but please be aware that this scam is targeting Youtube Content Creators.

Nothing to do with walking or history, but it's something I wanted to share. Though I had dinner sorted for the evening, I hadn't planned on lunch, and a quick check of the cupboard and fridge revealed not a lot to eat, so I decided to treat myself and get a pizza. I went to the Dominos on Bryants Road at Loganholme, and there was one staff member on duty. The poor young lass was run off her feet but was working so hard to fill all the orders, many of which were bulk orders; delivery guys waiting with bag after bag. I ordered my pizza and then went outside to wait. More and more people came into the store yet she expertly got the job done. I asked her if she was allowed to accept tips and she replied she didn't know, so I retrieved a $20 note from my wallet that had been in there for weeks and gave it to her, just to say thanks for her professionalism. I hope they are paying her a fortune to do ALL the work there today on her own.

QUICK UPDATE: The Mt. Gravatt show is coming along nicely in the edit, but it's a larger one than I originally envisaged. Yesterday it was running at 45 minutes but I've reduced it to just under 39 minutes. All being well it'll Premiere on Sunday 12th of April, most likely at 8pm but make sure to check the actual time on Sunday beforehand.
