100 videos! 🎨🌿

This is still a relatively small channel in the grand scheme of YouTube, but the amount of support, encouragement and genuine conversation here honestly means such a lot to me. One of my favourite things about this channel is how engaged everyone is, it genuinely feels like a little community.

I actually feel like I know many of you now (and in a couple of cases, I do, as we’ve met and sketched together).

New video coming up in about an hour 🌿🎨

This one’s a peaceful little sketching session in the Suffolk village of Tattingstone, trying out a really compact sketch folio setup that genuinely made me want to sit down and draw.

I’m also attempting to be a bit more organised and stick to a regular Sunday 6pm upload time now… although maybe don’t hold me to that just yet 😄

After a trip to the dentist, I spent half an hour sketching this nearby school building. With time very limited, I had no option but to be a bit looser. I started with paint, and despite a little hiccup with the position of the gate, I’m happier with this than the Butt and Oyster attempt at the weekend. I don’t think this method will ever completely take over from my usual 'comfort zone' of ink first, but I am enjoying having fun and exploring new approaches.
