I started posting video guides for Factorio in April 2025 and largely continue to post guides and Let's Plays.

Thank you to everyone that hyped my latest Dyson Sphere Program video in the first week, and for the continuing views and likes! It has gotten a lot more traffic than I had expected and I can't wait until I'm able to release the next video which will be a Factorio Space Age full run video that's similar to this one, but with an extra challenge attached! It will take me a bit of time to complete the run, and a bit more time to edit it down into a palatable video. Thanks again and I'll see you in the next one!

I know it's been a while since I've posted or uploaded a video. For those that didn't see the post in my discord (discord.gg/FAR7aD6U9X), I wanted to let you know that I'm currently working on a Dyson Sphere Program guide that is focused on being very easy to follow and mimic in the early game.

A good guide need to be informative, it needs to be complete, and it needs to have episodes come out fast enough that anyone following along won't need to wait long. To manage all of this, I've been prepping for a few weeks now and aim to record all or most of the videos before uploading. This will allow me to have videos come out faster once the first is released as well as keep up with what the community has to say about it. The down side of doing it this way is that I won't have feedback from prior videos before the next videos release.

I'm very excited and look forward to seeing what the community has to say!

Hello! So I recently started a quality focused Factorio playthrough and the first episode for the new playlist, episode 0 is very different than what I normally create. It was 9 hours condensed into 25 minutes and was more of a set of highlights that allowed me to kind of "tell the story" of how we got to where we needed to be to start the series. Episode 1 is how I've normally been doing things with a more detailed approach and commentary while playing the game rather than voicing over afterwards.

So I would like to get some feedback to better determine which you would prefer. Option 1 is VO commentary with longer gameplay condensed down into small chunks. This would also mean I would need a lot more time inbetween episodes, so instead of 1 per day it would be closer to 1 every 2-3 days. Option 2 would be how I normally make my videos, with me talking about what I'm doing and why while I'm doing it. I suppose option 3 would actually just be both, do the detailed version, then come back and condense several episodes together. Let me know what you think! I'll be looking forward to comments about this here or in my discord.

Hello.

So I've been asked to make a DLC version of the guide as well which is something I had considered when I decided to make a no DLC guide. I ultimately decided it would be too similar and, therefore, not good content. As I've been thinking about doing it, the time is coming where I need to make a decision on how to go forward with doing DLC content.
