Some conversations stay with you long after the cameras stop rolling... and this is one of them. I'm incredibly honored to welcome the legendary Tootsie Guevara to "Soul Supremacy" for her very first exclusive interview as "Tootsie 2.0."
From becoming one of OPM's most beloved voices with iconic hits like "Kaba," to growing up as a young breadwinner, leaving everything behind to start a new life in America, and now returning with renewed confidence through "It's Tootsie" and "Nurse The Dead," this is the story behind the woman we've admired for decades.
Together, we talk about the untold moments that shaped her journey, what reinvention truly means, and why it's never too late to embrace a new chapter. As someone who grew up listening to Tootsie's music, then had the privilege of working alongside her on "Nurse The Dead," and now being able to call her a friend, this conversation is one I'll always treasure. 🤎 Whether you've been a fan since the '90s or are just discovering Tootsie today, I truly believe you'll walk away inspired by her courage, humility, and authenticity. 🎧 The audio episode is now streaming on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and wherever you listen to podcasts. If you enjoy the episode, I'd be so grateful if you could like, comment, share, and subscribe. Every bit of support helps "Soul Supremacy" continue sharing meaningful conversations with incredible artists, creatives, and changemakers.
Thank you for being part of this journey. Here's to celebrating legends, embracing reinvention, and always leading with heart. 🤎✨
🎙️✨ NEW EPISODE OF SOUL SUPREMACY IS OUT NOW ✨🎙️ ft. Jelynn Sophia Malone for Nurse The Dead @iwant
In our newest episode of *Soul Supremacy*, I sit down with the incredible Jelynn Malone—actress, singer, producer, entrepreneur, and one of the stars of *Nurse The Dead*, premiering this Friday.
Together, we talk about her journey through the entertainment industry, the lessons she's learned along the way, staying resilient through life's challenges, and what it means to continue pursuing your purpose no matter what season you're in.
As someone who had the privilege of working alongside Jelynn on *Nurse The Dead*, this conversation was especially meaningful. Beyond her accomplishments, she's someone who leads with heart, generosity, and an unwavering commitment to her craft and community.
Thank you for supporting independent artists, independent films, and the conversations that connect us all.
After all the highs, lows, pivots, and lessons learned along the way, I'm incredibly excited to officially welcome you to Season 5 of the podcast.
There were moments I wasn't sure what this next chapter would look like. But through it all, one thing remained true: storytelling continues to bring me back home.
To kick off this season, I'm honored to sit down with filmmaker and community builder Andrew Acedo—Manager of Community & Impact at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures.
In this premiere episode, we dive into: 🎬 Finding your voice as a filmmaker 🇵🇭 Embracing Filipino identity as a creative superpower 🎞️ The stories behind *The Sharp Point of Time* and *Good Filipino Kids* 🏆 Navigating film festivals and the realities of recognition 🤝 Building community through art and representation
More than a conversation about filmmaking, this episode is about purpose, authenticity, and the power of telling stories that only you can tell.
Thank you for being part of this journey for the past 5 years. Whether you've been here since Episode 1 or you're just joining us now, I'm grateful you're here.
Here's to more meaningful conversations, creative inspiration, and celebrating the voices shaping our communities. ✨
STILL SO SURREAL ✨👻🫶🏽👀 I served as the “Wardrobe Supervisor” for this upcoming new series “NURSE THE DEAD” via @iwant@abscbnentertainment ✨ what a freaking dream come true! from growing up watching the classic teleseryes to eventually getting to work on this one.
My car was recently towed in LA after falling behind on registration payments. It’s been a really vulnerable and stressful few days, but I’m continuing to stay hopeful, grounded, and determined to get through this.
At the same time, this experience has strangely reminded me how much I’ve grown. Years ago, something like this would’ve completely broken me emotionally. Now, I’m learning how to face difficult moments directly while still creating, dreaming, and continuing forward.
I’ll be making my official YouTube comeback through all of this. New video dropping soon documenting this chapter honestly and vulnerably while trying to stay afloat as a filmmaker + creative living in Los Angeles.
Thank you so much to everyone that has checked in, donated, shared kind words, prayed for me, or simply continued believing in me and my work. Truly means more than you know. 🙏🏽✨
Hi friends, I’m reaching out humbly to ask for a bit of help from my community. My car was towed after I moved it out of safety and necessity because someone had tried to get inside it.
I’ve truly tried every option I could to make this work on my own, which is why I’m coming here as a last resort. The cost to retrieve it is $400, and I currently have $150.
Any support, even sharing or good thoughts, would mean so much. Thank you for reading and for holding me in kindness. Happy Holidays.. 🎄
Hai haiii friends! after many years of living in a public space (dorm/hostel) I miraculously managed to finally graduate and move into my own space.
Pls watch, show some love and I’ve definitely missed yall. I’m definitely in a place where I can settle in/down and start getting back to creating content again.
