Hey Its GIEL

I realized a few things in 2025. Growth and expansion require shedding old versions of yourself. It takes courage to let go and evolve. 🍾 ✨ Cheers to new wine and new wineskins in 2026. I've transformed over the past year, and I'm excited to live in THIS version of myself in 2026. Happy New Year! 🎊

Luke 5:36-39 MSG “No one cuts up a fine silk scarf to patch old work clothes; you want fabrics that match. And you don’t put wine in old, cracked bottles; you get strong, clean bottles for your fresh vintage wine. And no one who has ever tasted fine aged wine prefers unaged wine.” #heyitsgiel #lifeinlisbon #hello2026

Hey Its GIEL

Ever have a piece of sand or dirt fly in your eye? Man! Does it hurt! It causes you to flinch (maybe cry and scream bloody murder) as you vow to NEVER allow it to happen again. Sometimes "life" does that to us. Be it a shocking event, disappointment, hurt, or loss; these foreign objects that skew our vision can be very painful. When they're pouring down, it can be like a sandstorm causing a build-up of issues or "dirt" that irritates and taints our vision in life and self-image. The pain of that sudden attack makes it impossible to see and the fear keeps you from opening your eyes fully once again.

I know that feeling oh too well. Still, the beautiful thing about faith is learning to once again trust that you must open your eyes to see. Not only what's in front of you, but the beautiful panoramic views of life happening around you. Sure, you may get something in your eye again...but will staying where you are, really keep it from ever happening again? No. Having faith to keep moving and seeing is so important to living.

2 Corinthians 5:7 says, For we live by faith, not by sight.", and Mark 10:52 says, “Go,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road."

I love these seemingly contradicting scriptures because it reveals how faith, healing, and sight coexist! It's almost as if you need faith when you can't see, all the while moving in faith you become healed to truly see and live. I pray that for you. That God gives you the strength to open your eyes fully once again. That you allow Him to wash away anything that has obscured your vision to His marvelous creation and guiding hand through it all. #heyItsgiel #FaithOnRepeat #seethebeauty #eyeswideopen

Hey Its GIEL

“Never forget why you started!”
“You are stronger than you think.”

Everything about these words are passionate and inspiring, but at the root of it…stands our FAITH!

Faith to believe in the goal or dream.
Faith in the vision.
Faith in yourself.
Faith in God to see you through.

Whether we realize it or not, we are always required to put our FAITH to the test. Faith in action is never and will never be a one off.

Hey Its GIEL

When posting this pic, the word “REPOSITION” above the picture stood out to me! It resonated so strongly in my spirit that I felt immediate gratitude!

I’m so grateful that the first half of this year started out COMPLETELY different than the way it’s ending! God can literally REPOSITION you to be in the right place to receive what He has been trying to get to you. 🙌🏽

I pray that for you! That your faith carries you through! That when you’ve gone as far as you can go, you allow God to REPOSITION you (if necessary) so that all the RIGHT doors are being opened for you. Welcoming you into a place prepared just for you!

“When everything is ready, I will come and get you, so that you will always be with me where I am.” John 14:3 NLT
