🚨🚨🚨 I had to delay the next lesson I was working on for this.

I was in the middle of working on the next lesson when a really concerning issue was brought to my attention .. something so urgent that I had to address immediately.

It turns out that one of the most famous, widely circulated Quran recordings on the internet and one that is also hosted on dozens of major Quran apps and listened to by many MANY Muslims contains some severe, unacceptable mistakes. The result: Thousands of beginners are unknowingly listening to recitations with several mistakes and "lahn" in them, assuming they are listening to a flawless master recitation.

This is probably one of the most important videos I post on this channel. Make sure your notifications are on, you do not want to miss this one tomorrow, in shaa Allah.

In Surah Al-Baqarah, Allah says:
تِلۡكَ ٱلرُّسُلُ فَضَّلۡنَا بَعۡضَهُمۡ عَلَىٰ بَعۡضٖۘ
((Those messengers - some of them We caused to exceed others. ))


A common question arises about the use of feminine pronouns with masculine nouns: like تِلْكَ with الرُّسُل. Is it a mistake? Not at all. This is simply how classical Arabic works.
