Carolina Hurricanes vs Vegas Golden Knights
All right today is game one of the 2026 Stanley Cup finals between the Carolina Hurricanes and Vegas Golden Knights. I already talked about both teams so I’m gonna keep this one short Vegas feels like they just got more lucky they made it to the Stanley Cup finals because of the pathetic division and conference they were in but yet they still keep winning and Caroline is an absolute machine and it’s the best team in the Eastern conference for a reason so either way both teams will walk away with their second championship in their franchise history for Vegas. It’ll be the first time since 2023 and for Carolina will be the first since 2006 so we got a 3 year drought and a 20 year drought also it’s 2 teams I made fun of in the past so who is going to be the Stanley Cup champion is it going to be the Toronto Maple Leafs at the Western Conference or is it going to be the Buffalo Bills of hockey who will win at all? I honestly kind of determine of who I think is going to win on paper the Hurricane should easily crush the Golden Knights because let’s be honest Vegas really has no business or reason to even be in the finals in the first place but if there’s one thing I’m learn about Vegas this postseason is that never doubt them. They will always find a way to win games. That’s been what they always known for history and probably always will in this core so who I think is going to win the Stanley Cup in 2026 I hate to admit this, but I’m actually gonna go to Vegas because knowing them they’re gonna find a way to win games and Caroline’s going to fall apart but of course I’m still gonna root for Carolina why because fuck Vegas I can never root for Vegas they’re in my division so go Hurricanes
