Right now, my health has to come first, but my heart is still entirely in the kitchen. I’m currently admitted to the hospital, getting IV medications, and prepping for both an upper and lower GI scope tomorrow morning to figure out what’s going on.Even from this hospital bed, I am watching cooking shows and staying 100% invested in the Favorite Chef competition. This is my passion, and no medical setback is going to change that.The reality right now is incredibly tough. While I’m in here fighting to get healthy, my son and our cats are trying to make it through the hottest days of the summer with limited resources. 🏥 Update: Hospitalized again today. I have some major procedures tomorrow, and while I’m focused on health, I’m terrified for my son and our cats out in this heat tomorrow. 🐾☀️They have a cool place for tonight, but we need immediate help to ensure they can get through the heat of the day tomorrow while I am in surgery.
